Navlets has a great assortment of plants and really helpful staff. They also have a good assortment of items for outdoor landscaping jobs (like gravel etc) for do it yourself jobs.

Adidas makes a good product, both their shoes and their workout clothes, which are well made (fairly pricey). Make sure they fit you properly (the shoes) and you get the right type for your needs, so ask the sales person.
Sloat Garden Center
The people who work at Sloat are wonderfully nice and they have a good variety of indoor and outdoor plants. Convenient location and a nice big pot section.
Agapantha
Agapantha is a good place to find some unique and beautiful gifts, like vases or other decorations for the home. Good location too as it is located right in Alamo Plaza.
Swarovski Gallery Store
Swarvoski has some beautiful crystal items for your home--very one of a kind and artistic. But they are expensive, so you'll pay for them. Still, a good place to find a gift.

Ricks has the most unusual assortment of gifts and household items, but you can find some great things, for gifts or for yourself at some even better prices.
Beauty Source Unltd
Beauty source has a great selection of products--anything for hair, including the higher end shampoos. You can also find make-up and skin care products.
Omni Chemists
They make classic mens shoes too--but the women's shoes are classic, well made and always chic, as are their handbags. They are fairly expensive, but a good pair of shoes.
Cole Haan - CLOSED
Cole Haan shoes are not cheap--very pricey but they are very well made and classic--they have great boots and loafers with scrumtuous leather--great, classic styles. Great handbags too, which I would buy if I won the lottery.

Charles David makes timeless, classicly beautiful shoes. These shoes can be very expensive! But if you need a good pair of very classy dress shoes or very tailored shoes for work, this is the brand for you.
