I've never heard anything but praise about Silverado. Everytime I go in there the workers are very friendly, and the selection of unique and very different jewelry from far and was in amazing. Their pieces are beautiful, not too flashy, and very unique. The prices are quite high, but what can you expect from an upscale jewelry store.
You could find this restaurant in NYC. Very classy, great meals, but because of the calibre of food and service it is quite expensive (in comparison to other local restaurants). Worth a visit if you have the money.
This is a really popular bar in downtown Portland, so it's always got a lot of people and a lot of things going on. It's in a great location, where there are other bars if you get sick of it here. Nice bar atmosphere.
The people here are super friendly and always welcoming. While the food isn't the best, your typical low-cost Chinese cuisine, the prices are good, so it's worth the price. Plus you get a ton of food, so you won't go hungry for sure.
Title of the place is pretty self explanatory. The pizza isn't the best I've ever had, but it's pizza, and it's hard to screw that up too much. The prices are okay, and there are pretty good options if you're not into pizza too. Also they have daily specials. Not much else in the area if you're looking for cheaper food.
Growing up in the area this is the place I'd say I went to the most for a quick lunch or dinner with friends. While the food is mediocre, it's not horrible, and the prices are decent. The area is limited, so honestly you're not going to find much better than this.
The food at Wahoos is impressive considering it's outside appearances. I was expecting a greasy meal, loaded with fat, that would leave me feeling gross afterward. What I got was a warmed veggie wrap, that was delicious, and seemingly healthy. And of course, the fries are great, and they serve ice cream. Good stuff and quick service.
Being a Mainer, I'm not that impressed with Dimillos, but the food is good, especially if you're a tourist looking for some fresh Maine seafood, on a boat at that. It's a cool setting, but the food is expensive and nothing spectacular.
I like the SBC. I've been to several of their restaurants, and the food has always been very filling and good. It can be expensive, but there are lighter options that aren't as high. Plus, you get your pick of great locally brewed beers. Good for people visiting the area.
I've never had a bad meal here. It's hard to find a good chinese restaurant that's not a buffet or just really cheap, but Panda Garden does it. Great food, good service, all around good place.
