The new exhibits are fantastic. The chimpanzee, orangutan, and gorilla exhibits are excellent. We can't wait for the new elephant enclosure and reptile house.
The name says it all. They make big, delicious crepes stuffed with just about everything. My particular favorite is Zorba the Greek, with spinach and feta cheese. They make both sweet and savory crepes, and as I said before they are quite large. The patio area behind the restaurant is a great place to eat, surrounded by greenery.
This is a very small restaurant. The prices were very reasonable, and the food was fine-- nothing to get excited over, but decent, basic bbq. They have outdoor tables available, but as they are on a major street and next door to a gas station this is not ideal.
I went there when I needed my first nursing bras. I had no idea what size I needed and the sales woman was super helpful. She brought a variety of sizes and styles for me to try and helped me figure out what was the best fit. Parking is a problem.
My 18 month old took classes here and we loved it. It is very reasonably priced, especially if you buy in 10 week blocks. The staff is super nice, especially the owner's wife. They tailored the activities to the kids in each group and we had lots of fun. We stayed until my daughter turned three and it was always enjoyable.
They also do birthday parties, and have free play hours. I think you can even leave your kids there while you shop, although I'm not sure about that one.
When I first saw this place I thought the building was waiting to be torn down. Don't let the building fool you. This place makes HUGE delicious omelets for a super cheap price. There are other things on the menu but I haven't worked my way through the omelet selection yet. They are only open for breakfast and lunch and are often crowded, but it is worth the wait.
Instead of a basket of bread they serve these little, warm garlic rolls that are amazing. If you ask, they'll even bring you a little dish of freshly grated parmesan cheese to dip them in. I could be perfectly happy eating nothing but these for days on end.
The food is tasty as well, and the portions are very large. If you get the pasta you have the option of getting a larger portion, and I think that was the only meal I've ever seen my dad unable to finish in one sitting.
So, go for the rolls, stay for the food.
This is some of the best BBQ I've ever had. The plates are huge (we usually plan on 1 plate per 2 adults) and the meat is scrumptious. The side dishes are really tasty, although a bit small. I don't mind, though, because I fill up on the meat. The brisket is an experience not to be missed.
I've only ever had the burritos here but they are good, and big enough to be a meal unto themselves. They are quite reasonably priced, especially given the size. I will have to try something else next time....
Pretty much the best gaming store I've come across in 28 years of gaming. 10+ tables to play on; each night is devoted to one of the popular games, M:tG, Warhammer 40k, Pokemon, Star Wars, the Catan games, etc. Spacious and clean. There are many game boxes open and available for you to walk in and try out/play. Friendly / knowledgeable staff. There ought to be one or more Game Empire stores in every major city. Everywhere.
