I have stayed a couple times at this inn when I couldn't get a room elsewhere. The beds are clean, and the air conditioner worked great during the summer heat. The prices were really good, and the owners were very nice and friendly. My room cost was only $40 for the night and my room was very comfortable.
I have been going to this shop for years. I love to browse and see all the wonderful kitchen accessories, gadgets, and gifts they carry. It's especially nice to go before Christmas. I always find special kitchen gifts for friends. The shop smells wonderful when you walk in. There is always coffee brewing. Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Raspberry are my favorites!
This is a great place for a croissant or a donut. Delicious food all around and great service. The people are very nice and remember you when you come back. I tried a turkey croissant sandwich for lunch. Then took some donuts home. Yummy!
I found this little restaurant purely by accident one day while driving north on the 15 fwy. Hungry, I decided to turn off on Main St., and see if I could find a fast food place. Luckily, I drove into the Old Town of Lake Elsinore and spotted this restaurant with it's sign outside, "Tacos" and "Tamales". I ordered some tamales and wow, they were delicious. The tortillas are homemade and fresh. I decided while eating, that I would take a dozen tamales home. Beef, chicken, or cheese? I took some of all three. I will definitely stop here again when near Lake Elsinore.
We have stopped at this local liquor store many times when in Arcadia on our way to Santa Anita Racetrack. It's like any average liquor store, lots of varieties of drinks, beers, soft drinks, and newspapers. We usually buy a racing form here. It is one of the very few places to get one. The employees are friendly.
While visiting Palm Springs, I stopped in at Mango Tango to try their yogurt. The name caught my eye, so I thought I've give them a try. The store is amazing! They have a great selection of flavors, my favorites being chocolate and peanut butter. Delicious! They have loads of toppings too. This is a self serve yogurt place, and you pay by the ounce. The price is a little more than others that I've been to, but the flavors are well worth it. I wish I lived close because I'd get a "frequent buyers" card. I will definitely go back next time I'm in Palm Springs.
I like to periodically stop by this thrift store to see what they have. It's a small store, but they usually have a lot of clothes, kitchen accessories and knick knacks. They have special days for senior and military discounts. I think their prices are a little high but if I really want an item, I will pay a little more.
I grew up in Glendora and have been going to Nelson's Drug store for years. It's a quaint, family owned drug store and it fits perfectly in a small town like Glendora. When I'm home I like to just go in and browse for unique little gifts. The people are always helpful and friendly.
I have been given cakes from this bakery twice as gifts and I have to say they are so delicious! The cakes were very light, and the frostings were not too sweet. My family loved the chocolate cake and said it was the best cake they had ever eaten. Both cakes didn't last very long! I'd definitely recommend trying their cakes.
I asked Shari to cut and style my hair, and she did a wonderful job! She was very accomodating with my schedule and I was able to get a very early morning appointment. She gave me a new look, and gave me ideas for styling. I will definitely keep her as my stylist.
