I went here for a lunch meeting and was pleasantly surprised. The feel was intimate and the food tasty! We asked for speedy service and received the same. Overall, I would recommend it as a fine place to have lunch and a fun meeting spot!
There is no shortage of Chinese/Asian cuisine in Newton. South Pacific is one of a dozen restaurants offering an uninspiring, but eatable menu of food. On the positive side, there is always a table ready and the waitstaff is really nice!
Great eating but be ready to pay for it! The Village Tavern is a "must" in Winston Salem, and most people realize the price of good cuisine. But just the price alone is not the problem. This is a very popular restaurant and there may not always be room for you and your party. Call ahead and prepare your checkbook for a fine dining experience!
I've been going to breakfast at this place since 1987, when I first hit Boston as a young graduate student! Yummy food and fun, great service with a smile! The menu hasn't changed much and neither has the staff. Still family owned and operated and very much a "down home" feeling. Students and eclectic Allston crowd always welcome.
I would give it five stars, but my husband isn't a fan. It is a bit on the pricey side and you have to like unique pizza flavors. I love the pesto pizza! Lunchtime is great because there is always a "slice of the day" available. Some of the flavors are better than others, but that's why God invented the basic cheese pizza! Enjoy!
This is a typical new york deli, but pretends to be all U.N.! The menu is polka-dotted with international sounding foods, like the pancakes at IHop....really, that's what it reminded me of.
Fantastic tour of the U.N.! The ONLY downside was that it is still the only place in the city where cigarette smoking is permitted indoors. Other than that, the guides are very knowledgeable and friendly and the reception food we ate was terrific!
The hotel is way overpriced and the rooms are tiny! As usual, the walls were also paper thin and everything (I do mean every last thing) cost extra here! You have to "request" a coffee maker, lest you be charged a heafty $2.75 for a small cup of Joe in the lobby! come on, people!
Overpriced and crowded. Not so much fun as when the kids were little. Too much emphasis on video gaming. My son actually hit my husband on the head with an escaped golfball, that was lobbed over a fence and into another area...not too safe.
My husband and I have been coming to Tabor Hill for our Anniversary dinners every year for going on 15! We have a meal, overlooking the beautiful views of the vineyard and the dunes of Lake Michigan. Sometimes we tour the winery or just take a long walk in the vineyard as far as we are permitted. A picturesque location and marvelous food, with terrific wine pairings! We usually go home with a case!
