This is probably one of my favorite latin restaurants. Their churrasco is amazing! It is different from the Argentinian churrasco but it unreal. Juicy, tender and if you like medium cook they are great about doing it right! The other amazing thing about this place is it has a full bar. They know how to serve a good drink! The staff is really friendly and attentive to all your needs even if you go with a large group of 20.
I really like going there just to look at all the paintings on the walls. The food is pretty good. The rice with beans is really good. Everyone is really friendly. They've usually got some happy Caribbean music on. I've never had any of the drinks but I've heard they've got a good menu.
My favorite is the taco salad! I think LIME is a good addition to any of their entrees. They have a good selection of sauces especially hot sauces. This is a casual place to grab a quick and good bite when you are on the beach. Although it has gotten quite famous and sometimes you can get a line in which case it is not a quick stop.
It is not too common in Miami to find Turkish food but this was a really good. The owner is usually there and very friendly. If you get the chance to talk to him you are likely to learn something because he loves to talk about his culture and their food. If you are undecided on what to eat he is great on recommending and explaining what each plate has, The restaurant has a cozy feeling and has never been too crowded. Although I haven't been on the nights they have shows. Not sure what day of the week but they have a woman or women that dance while you have dinner. I'm sure it is great!
Purdy was my favorite club for years! I celebrated plenty of birthdays there because no matter what you always had a great time. The music was awesome, the drinks are reasonably priced and give you a great serving. Never a cover and the bouncer was there to check ids not to check you out and determine if and when you could go in. Only gotten a line to go in a couple of times in the seven years I've been going. However in the last couple of years it has been kind of hit or miss with the music and the right crowd. It is still worth a shot. You don't have to deal with any of the hassles most South Beach clubs have and if you get the right night it will be unforgettable!
This is the best bar in all of Miami, that is if what you want is good beer and a BAR! It is a small place but just the right crowd. There are never any bands, bouncers at the doors, cover charges, karaoke or any other surprises. Opens at 1pm and during the day it is calm. At night it is usually jamming. I think it is open til 4am. During the week it is usually the locals. On Friday and Saturday it is usually a packed house. But the beer is AWESOME! They've got lots of great stuff on tab brewed by them and then a good selection on bottles.
