Restaurant Row in San Marcos is a great place to come if you can't decied where to go- there's a great sushi place (Katsu), a bbq place, among others. I personally love Brunos and their yummy garlic bread and triamisu for dessert!
This is a great place to come to get a lot of things done. You can get amazing baked good, tarts, chocolate covered strawberries, etc at the bakery. There's a place to hand paint pottery. Come see a movie and sneak in food from Rubios or Panda. Then go grocery shopping on your way home. Also, a very cool fountain to relax by!
This place is just alright. It's a nice change from places like olive garden. The staff is really nice, there's ample parking, and the prices are very reasonable. I have the pasta marinara, and it's was a little on the simple side and could have used a bit more flavor.
When I get to Vegas, I aim to eat out as much as possible. I usually avoid Chinese food, as it isn't my favorite genre- however, the noodles here are wonderful! I had the lo mein and my boyfriend had the almond chicken. Both were so good we kept eating off each other's plates!
I came here with a friend cause he needed a pair of dress pants altered the day before his interview. They did such a great job of doing it same day while also completeing a quality job. They didn't even charge him extra for the rush service! I'm coming here next time I need a hem!
This place has quality athletic wear, but I do not think that it is worth it for the prices they ask. I came here for a sports bra- and they all seemed to be in the $50 range, and I think that it is unreasonable.
It was 30 below, so I was very impressed at the speed of our delivery. I was visiting my boyfriend in Chicago and we were able to have a great dinner without dealing with the cold. The crab ragoon was amazing, though the panang curry was lacking veggies, it was still very well-seasoned and spicy!
Why would you serve cold guacamole? I'm not talking room temp, i'm talking COLD. It's a sign that it's not fresh, otherwise why would it need to be in the fridge? My boyfriend and I ordered the guac and chips along with drinks- the waitress was very nice. The view was very nice. The annoying tourists taking a MILLION pictures were awful. I had a coffee with Balieys, which was good and had a mound of whipped cream on it.
I love this place, and I were rich I'd come here every month to get my hair cut. I don't remember the name of the girl who did my hair, but she was blonde, if that helps. She did an amazing job cutting stylish layers into my thin hair, making it look much more thick.
When I lived walking distance from the farmer's market, I tried to come here in leiu of the grocery store as often as possible. What I like about Marcel is their selection of cheeses- You can get really yummy swiss and crumbled gorgonzola! A little pricey, but worth it in my opinion.
