This place is great for anyone of any age! I've been eating here a few times per year since I was born (1984). It's a little bit challenging to find, but look for an older hacienda style white building on the corner of the street. The food is some of the BEST, most tasty mexican food that also looks better than any other mexican food in north county!
This place has survived in Encinitas for a huge amount of years. Everyone who lives in Encinitas has probably eaten here at least once. The pizza is fantastic! I always used to come here to celebrate sports teams' ending seasons. Way better than Round Table or anywhere else! Close to the beach too!
This place has been here for several years. I like the cute outfits and leashes for dogs and cats, but they are pretty overpriced (unless your pet has no budget). They carry a wide range of accessories, as well as food. They have a knowledgeable staff too.
I've eaten here ONCE because I am so afraid of the many horror stories that come from this tiny little take out place. I worked down the street, and my coworkers often went there and ordered burritos and sometimes found pieces of cleaning sponges mixed in with the cheese or beans! Don't go here!
I live 20 miles away from this tanning salon, but I used to go here twice a week for the darker tans. The staff were very knowledgeable about lotions and oils to use. There was hardly ever more than a 5 minute wait to use any of the tanning beds.
Possible the best surfboard ding repair company/guy in the entire world! He is a master at fixing cracks, dings, and even broken boards (in half or otherwise seemingly unrepairable). He is not costly, and he does a great job! He sometimes has a 2-week turnaround during the summer/winter months, but sometimes he can fit you in quickly! He has a ton of repeat customers!
Even though I worked at a competing surf shop, I would occasionally shop here for there amazing clearance items! They also have more skateboard trucks than other surf shops, but not as many as McGills Skate Shop. I like K-5 because they have lots of sales and events. The Encinitas store is particularly well-laid out (easy to find things)!
I have been in here a handful of times, and I really like the mom and pop atmosphere, but let's face it: Surf Ride is less than one block away and they are bigger with much more selection.
When I worked at a surf shop in Solana Beach, I would always recommend this upholstery shop for their wetsuit repair! Customers would always call me at the store and thank me for the referral.
I had an hour gift certificate for a massage here, and I really loved the massage! Christiana was the lady who gave me the massage. The room where you get the massage smells pleasant and the sounds are great! The only downfall is that this is not a salon/spa setting - it's more like a nice doctor's office with lots of oils and bottles everywhere!
