My daughter has been in their infant room since she was 6 weeks old. The director and assistant director held my spot for three whole months, since I was 7 months pregnant. Any time I dropped in during my pregnancy, they were so nice. My daughter is almost 10 months old now, and she is so advanced and healthy and happy. I have loved having them at Interfaith to share in raising my daughter with, because my husband and I don't have a lot of support here locally. When my daughter went back to daycare after a long absence, I dropped her off, and she looked around extremely happy that she was back. I highly reccommend them.
One of my favorite things to do is browse at half price books, and I have sold them books.
If you are selling books at this location, only go when the younger employees are there. There is an older heavyset man with glasses that will not give you good prices at all. The younger employees are way more generous.
I agree with the reviewers below. Dr. Patolia is an awesome doctor. She is very knowledgeable and very comforting. Any doctor I've ever seen in my life had *either* good bedside manner *or* a lot of book knowledge. Dr. Patolia is the only one I've seen who has both. I have scratched having female problems off of my list of things to worry about in life, because I know that if I ever did, Dr. Patolia would know the best answer no matter what.
I love Johnny Tamales. They have the best Mexican food around, and they are a great atmosphere. The fajitas are excellent. And, there is free ice cream for customers.
I love Niko's and go there regularly. I am originally from Chicago, then I lived in Arizona for 9 years, and have been to Greece twice. Now I live in Houston, and the food at Niko's is just as good as Chicago and Greece. It's such a breath of fresh air, coming from Arizona where there was no good Greek places whatsoever. My parents still live in Arizona, and whenever they come here, Niko's is the first place we go to eat.
As soon as I walked in the door to Pachamamas, the owner was extremely rude. The door would not close behind me, and she reprimanded me for this, as if I were her employee instead of customer. Then, upon purchasing my drink, she would not give me the change I wanted- I wanted a dollar in quarters in order to do laundry, and she rudely told me NO, she could not do that. Even though I offered her nickels and dimes for the quarters, she rudely said no.
It's a very beautiful place, and I live right across the street from it. There is a great play area for my daughter, and I hoped to come here many times on boring days. However, I will not go back to an establishment where the owner is so rude. I have always given good customer service in any job I've had, and expect the same when I am a customer.
