Although I haven't needed the repair service, I have purchased parts from them. They've been very helpfull and friendly selling me small parts, so if I do need something more extensive--I'll go there first.
Jim and John, the owners, are great with trucks and tractors, but they aren't afraid of taking on something new. Jim checked out an oil leak and muffler on my daughters Camry, and since he'd never worked on a Toyota before, he ordered a repair manual especially for it. He's even told me he'd tackle a Zamboni!
If you've never had Prime Rib at Kalmes, you're missing out. It is truely one of the best in the area. No need to dress up though--this is a very casual, local hang-out.
If you're taking a family--this is the place for pizza. Their pizza is alway great, plus the game room is the best! You'll want to take extra $ along because even the adults will get hooked on the fun.
Their Butter Burgers are not for the diet-conscience, but they are delicious. Personally, I like their Pork Tenderloin sandwich--it's huge! They are one of the few 'fast food' options in the area, but they are one of the best,so we are lucky.
The Elmo Club has some of the most reasonable prices in the area--and great food. There salad bar is very fresh and features old-time favorites like pickled herring and cottage cheese. On certain nights you even can be treated to a little local live music.
They have great, affordable daily specials. The Wigwam also offers a great catering service. You can't beat the homemade bread and fried chicken! Doug has kept his prices competitive and his food delicious.
