Our little boy is proof that Hope IVF lives up to its name. I cannot say enough nice things about him or the staff. Dr. Wong and his staff gave us hope and treated us with kindness and respect throughout our entire fertility journey. He is knowledgeable and caring. The most important thing for me was that he always took the time to talk to us about our options or to explain an upcoming procedure. Sometimes he'd sit with us for 30 minutes or more, which is unheard of in this day! I never felt that I was rushed into anything that we weren't ready for. The office is a soothing environment with cheerful staff. I always walked out of the office feeling less stressed and more hopeful that we would get the family we always wanted. It is obvious that he cares...he treats you like you are a human being, not just another "patient". I would recommend Dr. Wong to anyone struggling to conceive. Thank you, Dr. Wong!
This restaurant has excellent food...it's fresh and unique. Be sure to get reservations because it's a small place. The food is expensive, but worth it for a special occasion!
I know that Starbucks is good, but it's also good to support our local economy by going to places like the Neighborhood Cup. Try the lavendar latte...it's a great change from your regular caffe latte. They also have fun events at the Neighborhood Cup, so it's a fun place to meet up with friends. Since it's connected to the Aliso Viejo library, you can grab a coffee and a book at the same time!
I love this bakery! It's not a large bakery, but you can get amazing pastries and great bread! Try the Napolean (only made on weekends) or the Creme Brulee danish. Their baked good are not overly sweet, like many of the processed kinds that you'd buy in the supermarket. I love stopping by on the weekends for a little treat!
This is a fun place to take friends! There are three parts to the restaurant...the teppan tables, the sushi bar, and the regular restaurant. Be sure to try the "Yellow Dragon" sushi roll...it's spicy and tasty!
We love going to Kanpai for sushi! The sushi chefs are always really fun and friendly and make great sushi! The food is fresh and we've never had bad service. We took one of our friends, who lives in Japan to the restaurant and she agreed that it was good!
This restaurant has great, upscale Mexican food. It's pricey, but worth it if you are looking for a trendy place to eat with friends. It is usually crowded, so expect to wait a long time if you don't have reservations. The service is not always the best, so keep that in mind if you are in a rush to catch a movie. Their margaritas are great, as well as their mole and carnitas!
Five Crowns is a Laguna Beach tradition. The restaurant is near the beach in Corona del Mar and is picturesque with a lot of atmosphere. It's not swanky or hip, but cozy and nostalgic. When you sit in the lounge by the fireplace, you feel like you've been transported to a cozy inn in England. It is pricey, but we have always had wonderful food there, as well as exceptional service.
If you like to quilt, Tall Mouse has the cutest fabrics!! They also have a large bead department as well. I usually go here before I go to Michael's because I feel that the prices are less expensive. I took a cake decorating class here, which was a lot of fun, too. There isn't usually many people on the floor to help you out, but if you're a crafter and know just what you need, this is the place.
We happened upon this restaurant the other day and were very pleased with the food. It's a great change from the ordinary. If you're not sure what to order, ask the waiter for suggestions. I had the lamb once and it was great, as well the Saltado de Pollo which is good too. They give you bread and a great, spicy dipping sauce for it. The first time we went there, we had to wait a while for our food, but it was when they just opened, so I think that they were working the kinks out. The next time we went, the service was great!
