If you are looking for mexican food in Alamo, you don't have too many choices. So Don Joses does the trick if you need a quick fix. The restaurant can be fun, but the food is so so. Well worth the trip to another restaurant if you have the ambition.
Right in the heart of downtown WC, this taqueria is often overlooked because of it's neighbors. I've come hear a few times and rthe salsa is fresh and authentic and everythign is cooked to order. They have some seriously huge burritos that could satisfy just about everyone.
Can't beat Los Panchos for yummy Mexican take-out. I never stray too far from my Carne Asada Burrito, but I haven't heard a bad thing about any part of the menu.
Yum, Yum, Yum.
Can't say enough about this place. Convienent, good mexican food! A bit of a crowd during the peak eating hours, but worth the monir wait. One of the better take-out places.
This place was grreat for breakfast when it was here. The location is now the Black Bear Diner, but it is still a good place to go for some great breakfast grub.
While it certainly doesn't look like more than a public golf course club house from the outside, the greenery can get hopping some nights. The kareoke regulars are worth watching as you throw back enough drinks to try a song yourself. Or if you prefer you can sit back and enjoy the people watching...as there can be quite an interesting group of people that show up on any given night.
Dive Bar lovers rejoice!! This little corner bar in Cordelia certainly lives up to the dive bar reputation. With undergarments on the ceiling (or at least they used to be there until the fire marshall made them take them down, this place serves the drinks and not much else. Great for people watching.
You would never know by looking at the outside that this strip mall located restaurant is so good. Everything from the food to the staff is wonderful. They are very friendly and helpful. We will be back!
Went here for dinner one night and were surprised to learn that the place turns into a semi-club towards the end of the evening. Felt a little pressured to finish up our meal as this conversion was taking place. Food was pretty good though, but if you are looking for authentic there is better elsewhere.
If you like bars that smell like stale beer and vomit by the end of the night then this place is for you. If you don't get in early you will be waiting in a line to get in and be sandwiched between 21-22 year olds. Definitely a younger scene, so if your out of and over college find somewhere else
