You will NOT find a better commercial janitorial service than Brothers Cleaning. This is by far the most professional, organized, responsive, proactive, and skilled janitorial service. I've been so pleased to have hired them at my workplace...which has over 36,000 square feet of office space. They keep our building looking beautiful on a daily basis, and also maintain our carpets, floors, and windows. The owners and management are fine men of integrity who you will enjoy getting to know. We have grown very fond of the woman who diligently gives her best cleaning our office each evening. If you have commercial or residential cleaning needs, you will do yourself a favor by calling Brothers!
I know the owner of F&M Towing, and have had to call them a few times when 1) I got stuck in a muddy ditch and 2) when I flipped my car; and 3) when my daughter was in an accident and 4) when my son hit a deer. Each time they were at the scene promptly, and were able to take care of hauling our vehicle out of its predicament without further damage, and towing it to either their tow yard or to a auto/body shop (or...just out of the ditch!). All of us will likely need towing at one time or another -- when you do, be sure to call F & M!
Plan on spending a couple of hours perusing through TONS of high quality antiques, displayed by numerous dealers, who rent space from the three sisters who own and operate Glory Days. You'll be welcomed when you walk in the door, you'll be assisted by these knowledgeable ladies who KNOW antiques, and you'll be sure to leave with something you just couldn't live without! I'm still eyeing a beautiful leather seated mission style chair that I should probably buy quick before someone else does. Be sure and check this shop out, and tell Holly, Joni or Tracy Hello!
Brian brings over stained glass windows from England that can be used in your home here in the Oregon! Quite a way to make a statement! Brian's Furniture Farm is tucked away in an industrial strip, right next to an auto electric shop...but his location doesn't seem to hurt him, as those who have seen his beautiful selection of antiques will come see his stuff no matter where he is! His shop will sell "as is" and also offers refinishing. He truly has one of the nicest selections of beautiful antique furnishings that I've seen in the Eugene area. Check out his store...you'll be glad you ventured out West 11th to find him!
If you need granite...or if you just WANT granite, like I did, be sure to check out McKenzie Kitchen and Bath. These were just plain GREAT folks to work with from start to finish. Their sales folks were helpful in finding they type of granite we were looking for, ensuring that slabs were pulled for us at the slab yard, and then even securing and e-mailing a digital photo to us so we could "ooh and ahhh" at our slab prior to installation! The measurements were perfect, the installers were so nice and did a super job. Our kitchen looks just beautiful...and much of the credit goes to McKenzie Kitchen and Bath!!
My husband was our "general" contractor for our home, hiring subs, ordering supplies, etc. He has worked with Hammer both in his job with a commercial contractor, and now with the construction of our new home. Hammer was a great supplier, had everything we needed from nails, to siding, to Trex deck and good ol' 2x4's. There are probably lots of places to get these items, but Hammer stands by their products and truly "delivers the goods."
I've worked with New Way for at least 6 years through the company for which I am employed. They worked from the ground floor up to install the electrical for a 100,000 sq ft office/warehouse facility. They did a great job, and our company has continued to use them for all of our electrical needs -- generator installation, additional outlets for photo-copiers, warehouse equipment, etc. They also perform maintenance lighting for our facility. Each electrician we've had on site has been "bright" (pun intended), and personable. I would highlly recommend New Way for any commercial electrical needs!
My husband and I love "date night" at Rosalina's...with catch-up conversation over warm homemade tortilla chips and salsa. A creature of habit, my favorite dish is shredded beef enchiladas. My husband, on the other hand, usually tries the daily special...being treated to beef sauteed Mexican style with peppers and onions, and other dishes. Gabriel, the owner, always stops by with a warm welcome and a handshake. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient. And, who cannot love the little dessert of a sweetened flour tortilla chip topped with sherbet. Muy bueno!
Can't complain about the food here, as you're in the driver's seat...dishing up your own combinations of meats, veggies, oils, spices, and sauces. Then...watch the expert cooks literally slave away in the HOT kitchen..grilling your unique creation to perfection. Want to try it a little spicier?...go through the line again...and again...trying new combinations....until you're stuffed and can't walk out the door! Busy place, a little loud, with kind of a hip cafeteria atmosphere...Try it once and you'll be hooked, and will be back!
Working in West Eugene, I've had the pleasure of having several business lunches at Ring of Fire...a favorite spot on West 11th. Each time I go I get a little more adventurous, tyring to graduate from being a Thai food wimp. My standby dishes are the vegetable delight, which is as beautiful as it is delicious, and the garlic chicken. Daily chef creations are always notable and someone at my table always orders one (depending upon their toleration level of spiciness "stars". Even though I'm a one or two star novice, I give Ring of Fire five stars for quality, variety and service!
