I love it cause right there on the menu it tells you where you can stick it if you don't like the food. ;) It's a fun place to go. I'd say the food is about average or actually maybe just slightly above average for bar food, (although I didn't have a hamburger, maybe they're amazing) I just like that I could walk to it from my place, the energy was good, the staff is laid back and nice, and the food doesn't take hours to get. They seem to have a decent bar selection too. There's also the Little 5 pts. location, but I never actually ate at that one to my knowledge. A great spot afterwork, or for starters on a friday night.
The clothes are really expensive, but they are in such good taste.... i wish i could afford a shopping spree here. I love the shop, very cute. It's in a cool location too. I guess the woman, Kelly, who owns it is Shawn Mullins wife, but you would never know she was the wife of such a famous singer because she is so laid back, and friendly, and down-to-earth. I went with my friend Allison to her shop and we tried on Wedding gowns for her upcoming day a few years ago. She ended up buying her dress there, and I got a skirt from the boutique, just for the fun of it. Beautiful things there, the vibe makes you feel like a lady. I highly recommend this place, especially for you wedding gown.
I went here with my girls friends for our girls night out a couple/few years ago when this restaurant was first opening, and we absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere. Our server, (i can't remember her name) was very nice, and and helped us out on the wine selection. I know I like the food, and now, my mind draws a blank, but I'm pretty sure I had some fish tacos. If I remeber right I think the food was kinda pricey, but at the same time, you pay for what you get. We had a great experience.
The girls who did my hair at the Van Michael Salon did such a great job. I get compliments all the time on it, even when i rolled out of bed and it's dirty. My hair was always pretty bland, straight and parted straight down the middle in a "Butt-Cut", and I hated it. But now, thanx to the Van Michael Crew, I love my hair, it's great. Plus, everyone I dealt with in my experience was really nice, and welcoming
I love this spot. ...complete with it's very own shrine to Elvis, and great local musik, in a great location. Star Bar is the best! Granted you will leave the bar smelling like an ashtray with a bad case of emphysema, but it's worth it for the good time you had with your friends. It's loud, it's raw, it's a great time on saturday night.
did it close down?? not sure, but when I went there last I loved the vibe, a great location, good coffee and nice people. also free wifi which is why i first ventured in. i love the outdoor seating area, and the set-up on the inside.
Great College Hangout.... I've aged out of this place now, but back in the day it was the spot, and I think it still is. It gets pretty packed on weekends.... they have trivia nights, and a big beer selection. I haven't eaten a lot of the food, i guess I'd say typical bar food, but great tater tots, that bring your mind straight back to the school cafeteria. They call it the local, i guess cause it's a great locals only sorta spot. I love the place
The quality is amazing. This guy is professional, calm on a stressful day, and really really talented. He travels for your event also, which is really helpful. His website shows some of his skills, and he's got some real great ideas, not just for weddings, but for all kinds of stuff. I would definately recommend Trainspeed Media for anyone who wants anything documented. My husband is putting together something else now that we'll be using Michael at Trainspeed for, and he can do the a great job at such a great price.
My cats are both boys, both brothers, and both terrified of everything. One is worse than the other, but both of them seem to do fine when I take them to the Village Animal Clinic. Thank God for this place. I made the mistake of taking them to another vet before, for their first shots, and I felt like they were roughly handled, and that the staff was relatively unconcerned for my boys well-being. But The Village A.Clinic, treated my babies like princes, and they actually weren't afraid. The staff obviously LOVES animals, and treats them with care. I used to live close by to this vet, but now I live very far away, but it is worth the drive.
I LOVE Skate Escape. Some of the best, most down-to-earth people work there, and to top it off, it's in a great spot. Right across from Piedmont park, so if you want to rent skates, or a bike for the day, and have fun in the sun, it's right across the road... literally. I had my bike tuned up there by this guy Vivan, and he did such a great job, it's been two years, and my bike is still in great shape. There are two spots on location, the bike shop and the skate shop, and they have everything recreational you need for that kind of stuff, from rentals to tune-ups and high end bikes and skates. The skate shop has this great dog, very loving, and the people inside ... even the mailman make you feel welcome. This place could make a foreigner feel like a local. Not to mention, you can get great cold snacks at the skate shop for cheap on the hot days... for MUCH cheaper than in the park during festivals. Such a great crew, I love Skate Escape, and I couldn't imagine doing business with anyone else for those kinds of things. (Certainly not a crappy Target or Walmart) it's important to support local business, not to mention, the peronal touch is unbeatable.
