I've had a checking account at this bank for some time. I've always gotten good service--I feel that they put a high priority on the customer. Definitely, the best bank in town!
I took some guests from Japan to the Foster Golf links and it was a great experience for them. It was challenging enough to be worth the trip but everyone in the group could also play. They had a great store for my guests to buy souvenirs and a nice restaurant to eat in afterwards. Conviently located off Interurban Ave, I didn't have to drive to Timbuktu to find a nice course.
I was surprised to find Code Four just a few blocks from downtown Renton today. They have great prices. It was nice to be able to try on the shorts I needed right there in the shop to be sure they fit instead of trying to buy out of a catalog. I wish they had soccer shoes but they had everything else I need for my team. I'll definitely be doing my shopping here in the future.
Bartell's has a great pharmacy, with knowledgable pharmacists who can help with any over-the-counter drug as well as prescriptions. They take the time to explain things and help find medicines that will fit any budget. The travel nurse even came in on her day off to be sure my husband had the shots he needed for an unexpected trip abroad. I always come here for my photo developing, too. Inexpensive and dependable!
Des Moines Drug has been located in the heart of Des Moines for countless years and there is a reason it has survived the arrival of drug store giants like Bartell's, Walgreen's and Fred Meyer. The staff is local and friendly, getting to know it's clients on a first-name basis, and there is a huge variety of goods from drugs to cards to gifts. A fun place to shop!
Siler's is conveniently located in downtown Burien in the little strip mall next to the post office. The service has always been friendly and efficient. I always handle my licensing issues here.
My husband and I had a great dinner at the Met. The meat was tender and rare, just as I ordered it. It was a little pricey, though. I would have been happy with smaller portions at a lesser price. Good atmosphere. We enjoyed our evening.
The Village Frame shop is located right in downtown Des Moines. The owner, Tammy, does a great job framing pictures, cross stitch, etc. She has been really helpful working with me to choose a good matteing and also can help my art look great while keeping within a budget.
Don Arturo's is an excellent Cuban restaurant only a 10-15 minute drive from the Ft. Lauderdale beach hotels. The food is delicious and the service is superb. Good for family or group dining.
Giordano's is not your average pizza place. Awesome crust, either thin or stuffed, loaded with cheese. They have huge salads and other Italian dishes. You can choose regular size, or smaller portions for lower prices. Convenient to the downtown. Definitely a great taste of Chicago!
