McLendon's is a real hardware store. You know, the kind that actually has a big variety of parts and can take time to help you figure out what you need and how to use it. I've had so many times that Lowe's or Home Depot didn't have the part I needed. Now I always go to McLendon's first!
I don't know why it took me so to find out that Home Depot--one of my favorite stores--has a rental department in the back. A huge variety of tools and appliances are available for half day or full day rental. The prices were better than the local rental shop I usually go to but the times for returning equipment are more convenient. Now I don't have to spend a fortune buying tools or equipment I only need once in a blue moon!
Better than most fast food but just as convenient. This restaurant has huge portions at a reasonable price. I love the menu variety. Tastes great--and fresher than other fast food Mexican.
Western Foil has a good selection and a variety of price categories. Perfect for small-time wrappers or elite corporate customers. Willing to negotiate and easy to work with.
This cafe in the Georgetown District has all the best of Hawaii--the pulled pork is especially good but I like to try something new every time I go. Run by a couple from Kauai, this small restaurant is a gathering place for the island community living in Seattle. Small and cheap furnishings but warm hospitality...a place for kids to run around and feel welcome.
What a discovery in the heart of historic Ellensburg. The Dakota Cafe is warm and quaint--the decor is horse and cowboy pictures but in a classy, modern setting with lots of room. Fresh, mid-price menu. I wasn't joking about the warm, freshly baked sourdough bread...best I've ever had! Only the service was lacking.
It was nice to find a regular restaurant in the Excalibur hotel and casino this weekend. The food was pretty good and the service and price were great. I appreciated not having to stand in a long line and pay so much money for the buffet I could never even eat enough to make it worth it. I saved time and money for fun things I'd rather do in Vegas!
OK, so it's jazz. The real stuff! Dixieland jazz with the Preservation Hall All-Stars. The performance was awesome. These guys speak with their instruments, and the audience shared their love of music. It was so much fun we stayed for all 3 sets! Enjoy the French Quarter without all the noise, smoking and drinking!
Conveniently located in downtown Des Moines, the Yardarm has it all. Delicious food at a super price. Has the typical pub area for pool table and bar with a lot of young people, but plenty of space so you can enjoy dinner away from the action. Popular with young and old alike. Lots of TV's for the sports enthusiasts. The best part is the daily specials. I had prime rib for $10! Get excited!
Mouthwatering. That is the word I would use to describe the food at B & E Meats! A huge array of freshly butchered meats, both plain and prepared for cooking. The smoked salmon is to die for--I get it not only for my self, but have it vacuum packed for gifts when I travel. Fast, friendly service.
