Solo Bella is a quiet little italian restaurant located in jackson. There is no bar but you can bring your own wine. The portions are extremely generous and the prices are reasonable. Before the meal you can expect the homemade bread and oil to be by far the best you've ever had.
This is a great place to go for decent mexican food. It has a great mexican atmosphere equiped with Frieda Kahlo paintings on the wall. The place is never that crowded and the service as well as the prices are quite satisfactory.
Jim & Mike's not only has good pizza, but they are also open for breakfast as well. The food is always pretty good, and usually done quickly. Not to mention the restaurant is conveniently located on Broadway which makes it a great place to stop if you are shopping in town or seeing a play or movie at the old theater.
This is a great place to stop and get breakfast. They have a strawberry waffle that is to die for. There is a wide assortment of pancakes and waffles topped with fruit or nuts, or even chipped beef. They also make great eggs, bacon and french toast. This is a shore favorite!
While this hotel is conveniently located, that is about all it has going for it. The rooms are hit or miss whether or not they are remotely clean. The carpets and couches are in dire need of replacement. The motel rates are going up, but the hotel is hardly improving. If your a teenager looking for a place to stay its suitable, however, I wouldn't recommend bringing the family.
This is another great place to eat, especially if you are on your way down the shore. The seafood is really good, its a little pricey, but the atmosphere makes up for it. There are all sorts of crazy decorations like animals with two heads, etc. Its just a fun place to dine and is very kid friendly- ask about the kiddie cocktails.
Jones is another restaurant that is definitely worth stopping in if you are looking for lunch in Philly. They give you a lot of food, the food is always good, and the place is really clean. In terms of pricing it is fairly reasonable for Philly.
The Pop Shop is a nice throw back restaurant. It is decorated in a 50's style and has that loud hustle and bustle. The waitresses are really nice and the food is good. They have a bunch of great milkshakes and ice cream sodas as well as over a dozen different types of grilled cheese. It is also a great place to go for pancakes, you get a bunch of pancakes for a really good price.
Dr. Camacho is definately world class. He has been treating my family for years, he is good about phoning in prescriptions and referrals, you don't have to wait in his office for long periods of time, and he is very good at what he does. He found a heart murmur, which had gone unnoticed for 20 years, in about 15 seconds.
