Dr. Nish is a wonderful doctor. I was told he would be gentle and he was. I had a nightmarish endo biopsy at Kaiser and was fearful of returning to the stirrups. But Dr. Nish understood and made certain my exam was easy and comfortable. Later, he did surgery and that went extremely well. Everyone was so nice at the surgical center, and Dr. Nish made sure I had adequate pain medication so that I never felt a thing--ever. I am really pleased with this doctor. He has taken away the fear from my exams.
I love stopping here--especially going through the drive-through. The guys and gals are friendly and know what drinks I like and sometimes suggest others to try. On weekends, the drive-through line can have 10 cars waiting. That's not fun but what can you do? This place is popular. I like Alex. He often greets ladies with "Hi, beautiful" even if you are sans makeup and in rollers. And on your way out he says, "Bye, my friend."
Visited this store this weekend searching for better prices on Halo, Purely for Pets food, wet and dry. They charge more than I am paying across town right now so I passed. While in the store, I could not find prices listed on anything. With no prices, you cannot compare. I asked about it and was told that stuff gets moved around so much, they don't even place a price on the shelf ledge. You take your pet food to the counter and they look up the price in a binder. uh, No thanks.
I have never used the vet or the grooming service, but I buy cat food. It is the only place in town (just about) where you can pick up cases of wet food. If you need more of something, they will order it. Casey, one of the managers, is top notch and always helpful (but I miss Tiffany who left to become a vet tech).
Simon Mee, owner, is often around bringing coffee, food platters & whatever to help the waiters. I'll say, "Hi Simon!" and he will smile as if we are old pals. It is that kind of place. The restaurant is unpretentious-looking inside. On weekends, get there before 8:00 a.m. or you will face a wait. This place is just too popular. Order the petite omelet. The 4-egg version is too big. Pass on the Newhall coffee. It is kind of bitter. I recommend Plantation Eggs Benedict. Yummy. (Look closely. The Mee's reviewed their own restaurant!) LOL
