Stayed in this B&B 7/9 thru 7/13. The proprietor personally opened the door for us when we arrived, gave us recommendations for nearby dining, ensured breakfast (continental) was ready and that all needs were met.
We'll be staying here again!
Unlike prior visits, I attended a couple of weeks ago with a group of about 12 and the waitstaff was largely unattentive. We had to get up to pay our own checks.
Unlike Copeland's, which is a corporate chain (though it's somewhat authentic), Depeaux sits in a hundred-year-old renovated train depot in Decatur. The food is homey, portions could be a bit bigger though. Abita beers on tap and Community Coffee and Tea are served.
Check it out..best taste of home I've had in Atlanta in quite a while!
Used to be Taco Mack at the River.. under new management, this place retains a good bar-food menu and plenty of beers to choose from. Trivia, live music, etc.. all conveniently located!
