The Palm Beach Country Club is a members only retreat offering golf, tennis and everything else a member could desire. In the dining room the food excels. Their private parties are lavish as are their holiday celebrations. If you are fortunate enough to be able to afford to join, and are accepted, you will not be disappointed.
This restaurant is open to others than residents of The Towers. The food is quite good - nothing spectacular, but still quite good and is a nice choice on occasion.
This is the home branch of Systematic in Great Neck. They are the cream of the crop. Although quite expensive, it might just be that they are expensive up front. Since things are done right, you rarely need a service call later one which saves money over the years. So maybe they aren't that expensive. And when I think of the aggravation I have not had because they did it right, well I guess they are cheap <VBG>.
I switched to Conroy exterminating a few years ago when the once family owned company I used to deal with was sold to a huge company. I find Conroy to be just as good if not better than any other company. My home is free of pests and the prices can't be beat. That is a slam dunk in my book.
I have had good luck with airport runs to the airport but not such good luck with being picked up. Now I don't know if it is that someone else got in and said they were me or what, but it was not fun. I will now only use them when I have no other choice. I know I should not judge by one experience, but there are other cab services out there so...
This is classic bar food at it's best. You can get a huge range of things here, even stuff for vegetarians. It is far from a diner though. Try any of their specials. You will not be disappointed.
Walter is always around to change your watch battery, clean that dirty watch, fix your ring, necklace, whatever. He is the nicest man and has been working at being a jeweler and watch repairman for a long long time. Just don't go in on a Wednesday as he is closed.
He also sells fine cigars and cigar accessories.
As far as I know, they have become only a catering establishment. Their food is good, but nothing to jump up and down about. But the facilities are both beautiful and historic and the setting is as well. This is certainly someplace to consider should you be planning an affair.
Although there is no stadium seating, this theater is a really nice place to see a film. Since there is great dining (both casual and formal) very nearby, we often choose this theater when it is a dinner and a movie night.
Since we have become seniors the bargain matinees are no longer a draw, but before we turned *that* age, we loved to come for them.
If something it playing we want to see we always look here first. The seating is great (stadium seating), the sound is wonderful and, overall, the whole experience is better than in smaller local theaters. It is, though, the stadium seating that draws us.
