Really good Italian Ices. Lots of flavors, some sugar free. They also have what they call "cream ices" which are just like ice cream. This is a great place to go. They are closed, though, during the winter months.
Ralph's can be found all over Long Island. They have the most wonderful Italian ices. There are a more flavors than you can imagine and many of them are available sugar free variety.
Ralph's is not to be missed.
I am not one who believes in astrology, psychics, etc. As a matter of fact they seem laughable at best to me and downright larcenous at the worst.
Anyway, I had multiple occasions to meet with Pat and had access to feedback from pet owners who used her services. If Pat wasn't such a sweet soft woman I would say she is scary. She is right on with the dogs I know she has read. RIGHT ON.
I don't particularly believe in a lot of the things she says (as a matter of fact I think they are hogwash) but as far as her reading dogs - just WOW!
This deli is similar to most delis in this area. It is long and narrow with a case running almost the whole length of the store. They have good fresh meats and salads as well as all the beverages and sides (like chips, etc.) that anyone could want.
Smith and Hawken carries top of the line garden tools and accessories. They are very expensive but if you can afford their stuff then you will never be disappointed.
When they do have sales they are spectacular so watch for them. I got some great hose guides - they look like black birds - at 70% off.
I find Bulk Oils to have the largest selection of fragrance oils anywhere. They are also super high quality and at a very low price. I have found fragrances here that I have found no where else no matter how hard I looked. The patchouli is true to its origins as is the plumeria, the lilac, the hyacinth, etc. etc. etc. This is the best place for fragrance oils anywhere.
Although the name implies a bagel store, this is so much more than bagels. You can get breakfast, sandwiches, lottery tickets, etc. And the bagels are really good as well. As most other places they have the baker's dozen special. I always take advantage of that.
I use this establishment only for the tailor as I have used a different cleaner for years and am quite satisfied. So I have never inexperienced their cleaning.
The tailoring in the place I use for cleaning is lacking, so, on a recommendation from a friend, I tried this place. I am quite satisfied.
Mayflower cleaners has been around for a long time. They have a loyal following because their work is good. There are many cleaners in town and Mayflower is consistent enough to not even think about trying another. The work they do is always up to par and the counter help are polite and efficient. I will continue to use them in the future.
They advertise themselves as the Appliance Giant and they certainly are. Whatever you need, from TVs to computers, to kitchen appliances, you can get it here at a price that is equal to or less than the big boy appliance chain stores.
They deliver, haul away, install, etc. And they have the "designer" brands of appliances for the upscale home.
PC Richard is certainly worth the time it takes to scope that place out.
