I've been to a LOT of groomers before I found Arlene's. I wish I would have found her first. I asked her how long she's been in business, and she said over 25 years. That says something right there. When I pick up my poodle and shih tzu, it's like I just picked them up from a dog salon, except Arlene is cheaper or equally priced to the 'chop shops' I've taken them to before. When I say 'chop shop', I mean when I pick my guys up from the other groomers and there's choppy chunks cut out of their coats. Arlene cuts them so smooth and clean, it's amazing. And I've been there when other people are picking up their pooches, too, and they look equally awesome with the cuts those particular type of dogs are supposed to have, like schnauzers. The shop isn't exactly conveniently located, but if you like your pooch looking exceptional when you take him/her out and about, it is SO worth the trip!
