The venue is tired, out of date and while it has a pretty view the catering was overpriced and the staff was inattentive. Also parking was really difficult... go to Skansonia Ferry.. the pricing is cheaper and the view is the same.
really .. outside deck and happy hour are the best... the restaurant itself can get pricey but happy hour is the best. Sit outside and have a drink and some great food.... But once happy hour ends...things double in price so watch the time and get out while the prices are still affordable.
ran into this place off a coffee shop coupon. got me in same day no issues and did a nice job at under $50. I did go back and got another salon artist.. this time it was $75 so make sure to ask the pricing as the different stylists are vastly different in price. The space is nice, easy parking around it and I felt l had a nice high end cut without the long wait to get an appointment.
Sadly this place used to be okay but the servers have gotten quite full of themselves... if you don't order a bottle of wine at $70 or more they tend to treat you like a second class citizen. The food was okay but really expensive... probably an okay place to propose but go to Canlis.. much better, more romantic and an exceptionally better base fo staff.
