School of the Madeleine purports itself to be higher in virtue that other "public schools". Well, sadly it is not. We made the change and hoped that S of the M would stand above our prior school academically and philosophically. We were disappointed to find mediocre academics and much to do about nothing... Too large class sizes are dismissed because of the "strict" policies, implying that they do not experience the same distractions that you would find in other schools. Hog wosh!!What we found was a "who's who of S of the M" and if you were not in that circle, you were not all that comfortable overall. Same for your child. If your child does not exactly fit the "mold" then he is also made to feel less than welcome. We found this school to be academically unchallenging and an overall dissappointment. Sorry! :-(
We could have started at a couple of Little Leagues in our area, but we are very glad that we started at Tecolote PONY ball instead!
The entire league is very well ran overall. MANY caring people spend countless hours seeing that the league is well organized - we really appreciate that.
As for the actual "baseball" part - we love Pony ball. Our sons find it more challenging as they constantly have to "think" with the Pony "real baseball" rules.
Every league has it's challenges and/or bad apples. But, overall - Tecolote is a superior place to play baseball. - Jen
I have been to several dinner prep studios and Dinner Studio is by far my favorite!! Gloria and her staff are excellent!!
'I have attended and organized a few get togethers and all went great! I am always happy to remember I have a unique Dinner Studio dinner waiting for my family in the freezer!
The menu items are good & the serving sizes are very reasonable. I hate to see the Pt Loma location go, but I look forward to visiting other locations soon! - Jen
Sorry, but our family thinks Dr. Chambers and his staff fails to remember what it's all about. Dr. Chambers office is very unclean. I have literally pulled toys from my sons hands after seeing the filth. The chairs are old and gross and the overall atmosphere is very uninviting. Visits are hurried and his staff is rude! If I were alone in thinking this, I would not write this review. Unfortunately, many patients and friends of ours withing the PL community agree...
I have had numberous experiences where his staff failed to call in Rx's causing me hours of wasted time, etc. Then, they were rude about it on top of that!
Dr. Chambers appears to be so caught up in the money making/ numbers game of treating work comp patients, etc. that he forgets to take his time with his long time patients and/or make his office a welcoming place for those same members of the community.
On the positive side, we will say that his pediatric office has finally been lucky enough to secure a friendly, competent Dr. who has stayed for more than 1 year. Her office is clean and fun. Unfortunately, Dr. Chambers and the rest of his office seem to fail in every way.
We have left this office to be treated by a former partner of Dr. Chambers and we are very happy there. We are sorry to be so negative, but our experiences with Dr. C's office over the past many years have been the worst!!
I don't know where to start with Dr. Holman and his office staff. They are THE BEST! I first went to them for myself. He provided me the orthodontic correction that I wanted without the years of agony and tens of thousands of dollars others asked for to do the same "cosmetic" fix that I needed. All went well. Then, my 10 year old son went to him and my husband followed. Each time he proceeded professionally without over treating like many ortho's do. Dr. Holman always takes time to know each patient personally, as demonstrated by his office photos and bulletin boards! What should also be mentioned is the OUTSTANDING friendly staff and super clean offices. We always feel welcome and "at home" when dealing with any of the staff. So competent and professional! We also appreciate Dr. Holman's billing practices -which allowed us to work within our Med Flex spending plan guidelines. We HIGHLY recommend this office!
This company has a product that is not for everyone - but if they happen to have a product that suits your needs, then they should be the company you use! The cases and products they distribute are very quality - but the personnel within the office are even more so. I appreciate the responsiveness and efficiency!
There are lots of restoration services in San Diego - that is for sure! So, you have to consider customer service when you chose one! As an insurance industry rep, I know a lot of them.
And, I have to refer a lot of them as well. I was very impressed with the service I rec'd from my first time using this company recently.
I was very pleased after spending an afternoon at Elevations with a friend.
While it's not a huge/true spa like you might find at La Costa, etc. it's cozy, clean and very relaxing! If you get a body treatment, you can enjoy a robe, slippers and some some to relax and read in their little room set aside for that purpose. So, that made it worthwhile for sure.
We found the service techs to be very competent as well. Enjoy!
I am all about convenience! And, Rose's nails has two locations within a 1/2 mile of one another so if you are trying for an "impromptu" appt, they will get you in at one shop or the other.
Both location are comfortable and clean! I have had pedicures, nails, and waxing done here and I would recommend!
We enjoyed one of the best steak and fish dinners with another couple at this restaurant recently. The presentation was second to none!! The view was wonderful!!
Even the kids (who we were able to sit at a table next to us) enjoyed their dinner and the view as well!
Truly one of the best dinner experiences we have ever had Big Bear!!
