This is truly a lovely place, whether you want to stay here in one of the lovely suites, or just spend an afternoon being pampered in the spa. I had a massage, followed by lunch. The massage was excellent, the food was wonderful, and the serene surroundings make it a wonderful getaway, if not for a few days, a few hours is still a treat. This place is a well kept secret, and I have never seen it overly busy any time I have been there. I highly recommend this place.
Whether you play polo. enjoy watching, or not, everyone will enjoy visiting this small, but well stocked store. It is full of traditional and authentic polo shitrs. Replicas of shirts worn by the USA team in different international events, or any other world team for that matter, can be found here. Boots, helmets etc worn by polo players and lovely carry-all bags too. The staff are very pleasant, and Joseph, the manager, donated a lovely shirt for my last fundraising event for my rescue horses, at the Polo Club. Recommend a visit to this store. A polo shirt looks great with jeans, whether you play polo or not.
This is a very small store on the grounds of the San Diego Polo Club. They cater mostly to the polo players, carrying polo pants, shiirts, helmets, visors, boots, mallets, balls etc. Lots of stuff for the horse also in the way of boots, bandages, shampoo, grooming stuff. Friendly staff and generous also with a donation of a helmet to my non-profit organization for a fundraiser at the Polo Club this summer.
I recommend this business if you have a horse and need to do some shopping.
Mark Connelly has had Concord equestrian center for as long as I can remember. He is a very talented rider and will do a great job training you or your horse. He has staff that are great with kids. The barn is located at the Del Mar horsepark which is a wonderful location with lovely arenas and a covered on for inclement weather.
Recommend this business.
My whole family goes to Dr. Pund once or twice a year. During my last visit he was very thorough. He is a cardiologist but he in interested in every aspect of your health, as it all affects the well being of the heart. I highly recommend Dr. Pund.
I recently rescued a horse at Mike's auction that turned out to be quick sick. Sadly 2 days later he had to be euthanised. I decided to have a necropsy done on this horse, so Brent at Gully's came and picked the horse up right after euthanasia, and took him to the state lab for the necropsy. 2 days later I received a sympathy card in the mail from Gully's stating how sorry they were for my loss. I was touched. This shows these people have compassion. Sure it's their job to pick up dead animals, but it shows that they care it was your pet that just died, in my case a horse that I had tried to rescue. Sadly it was too late for him, but I was able to give him a gift, and end his suffering. Thank you to Brent at Gully's for making this easier for me. I will use them again. I highly recommend this business.
We have been with the Credit Union for many years. The fees are very low, and the interest offered for deposit accounts is usually higher than the other banks. My branch in El Cajon is very friendly. Never too crowded, I am usually in and out quickly. Recently they cashed a bunch of traveller's checks for my Mother when she visited from Ireland. They were quick and efficient and did not charge a fee for doing this.
I highly recommend the Credit Union as opposed to a regular bank.
This club sits on 60 acres of beautiful flat land. Many people keep their polo ponies here. There are numerous fields for practice and competition, and area for exericise rides and ponying other horses. The facility can be rented out for parties and/or fundraisers. the Polo club are very involved with giving of their space to charities.
Polo is fun to watch during the competitive season June-October. This summer I was invited to participate in a fundraiser for my non-profit horse rescue organization. Rhonda was very accommodating. It was a fun day and we raised some much needed funds.
This is a beautiful club for those who play polo, and a great place to come on a Sunday to watch, for entertainment.
This store is in the same center as my gym, so when I have had a work out and feeling hungry, I head on over to Windy City. Nuts or a candy bar are my preference.
The store is Iraqi owned. The owners are friendly. They sure do have a lot of liquor in this small store. They must do a good business!
I recently took an old pair of riding boots to Carl's to be
stitched. He stitched them up, polished them and they are good for another 100 miles. I have not needed any tack repaired recently but this is where I will take it. He works on saddles and bridles also. Friendly and inexpensive.
