Emily has patience and knows what is best for your horse in training with her. She takes the horse through its' training at an appropriate pace. Emily also teaches riding. Her students love her, and she gets good results. Recommend this business.
I have used Mitch of Wings Horse transportation on several occasions to transport horses from state to state. He is very knowledgeable and careful with the horses. They get plenty to eat and drink, and rest whenever they need it. I would recommend this business.
I have had to use the services of Dr. McCraigie on two occasions for euthanasia of horses. She was very available, was able to come right away. She is very compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend her services.
I recently rescued a horse that needed care, in the absence of the primary care giver. Heather went to check on my horse 3 times a day, fed and cleaned. She did an awesome job. I would recommend Heather to take care of any animal.
Sandy has a very lovely ranch for her thoroughbreds and the ones she has in training. The horses all have large runs with shade, and lots of good food. She takes excellent care of all the horses. My mustang has been there for a few months, and he is one happy little horse.
This place is renowned for it's good seafood dishes, fresh fish daily. I had the salmon and my husband had the ahi. Was excellent. Staff friendly and the service was good. Highly recommend.
Humphrey's does the dinner and concert package. The food is always good, and the restaurant has a comfortable laid back atmosphere. Seafood is their specialty. The open air concert venue is small and intimate. I have seen some great artists here. Sits right on the edge of san Diego Bay. Gets chilly at night, bring a sweater. Highly recommend.
Parcher's is a 20 minute drive up the mountain from Bishop. it is cool up there and lovely. The resort is wooded, well laid out with small cabins to rent to spend the night. There are also a few motorhome spots which you have to reserve in advance. The restaurant provides a good breakfast before you go fishing at South Lake, hiking or horse back riding. Look out for bears. So close to nature here, I love this place.
Attractive building from the outside, just as pretty on the inside. Lovely country, mountainous feel to it. Very comfortable. the staff are friendly and the food is good. A large variety of american faire, fresh breads. Dined here while passing through to Yosemite. Recommend.
The holding conditions for animals here leaves a lot to be desired. Not enough shade from the hot sun, dirty smelly water. You might even see a dead goat or sheep. You will definitely see skinny horses for sale here, that should not be allowed to go through auction. Horses do not end up going to good homes from here.
