My mom decided on this place for my sister's wedding shower, and the staff was extremely helpful in making sure that the room was just the way my mom wanted it. The food that day was great, and they were always around to make sure that everything was going good.
No matter what Chicago sports team you're looking for, this store has everything imaginable. You can get custom-made jerseys here which all come out great. Prices are a little high, but for the quality of the products you are receiving, and also the fact that they are authentic, I think the prices are well worth it.
We would always go here to get pounds of shrimp for Christmas and perch sandwiches during Lent, and food was always very good. I am not a large fish eater, but I actually enjoy the fish from here because it does not have that potent fish smell to it. They are pretty reasonable with their prices.
It's a good place to go with families. The breakfast food was good, and the prices were very reasonable. The service was very friendly and efficient. It's a nice little local restaurant to stop by for breakfast any day of the week.
I went there for breakfast, and not only did I leave there full but I also had enough leftovers to fill me up for lunch that day. For the portion sizes you get the prices are very reasonable. It's a great place to go with grandparents.
This video store has all the hit movies, and they are also offering blu-ray now for some of the more recent releases. I don't think I've stepped foot in a Blockbuster since going here because the prices at Classic are great. They have 2 rentals for $5 Wednesdays and Thursdays, and otherwise new releases are only like $2.50 or $3.00.
This bakery is a great place to go to get great, homemade Lithuanian food, but since it is mostly Lithuanian workers there, it seems that if you don't speak their language then they don't respect you as much as a customer. I've noticed that they will go out of their way to go bring out the freshest goods to customers who speak Lithuanian but then will give the day-old things to other customers.
This place is a nice family restaurant, and it's great to go to for breakfast. Be very careful on Sundays after churches get out or holidays like Mother's Day because you will be waiting forever to get a table. It's a nice place to have in the neighborhood though.
This hotel is very, very modern, but the rooms are incredible. I stayed here for a bachelorette party and we had a suite, and the suite had its own projection movie area. All the rooms have flat screen tvs. You are also only a couple steps away from Michigan Ave, so it is a great hotel for people who want to be close to a great part of downtown Chicago.
They carry alot of different beers, wines, etc. so you are almost guaranteed to find what you are looking for here. Prices are cheaper than your local grocery stores. Domestic beer is always on sale.
