When I am at NYUMC I frequent this little deli. The food is tasty and the diversity is good. My regular is a Gyro or a Italian Hoagie (Italian Submarine they call it).
The service is quick and the prices are good for the quantity.
If you want a quick lunch good quality and quantity then I would recommend you stop in this little deli.
I like termini's don't get me wrong. I just think it is a little over-hyped. When I am in center city I stop at the reading terminal and get one for lunch. But I won't say it is the best but it is good.
If you are in the neighborhood then grab one but I wouldn't make a special trip to the reading terminal one.
My wife and daughter raved about this place. When you first go it doesn't look like much from the outside. When you are in it is a nice little place. Traveling to NY a lot it almost reminds me of those smaller style restaurants.
Their fried rice is very tasty. We usually order brown rice and that is a tough combo with traditional Chinese with taste; Joe's does a good job with it. Their food is good and they do take out. Only drawback is no credit cards.
We have gone to Indian acres for Christmas tress. The price of the trees are a little high but it is more of a event.
I take my daughters for the hayride out to the trees, the cider, snacks they sell and the whole ambiance.
If you want the lets make it a couple hours and hunt for our Christmas trees with the littles. Then I would visit Indian Acres at Christmas.
Swing Batter is an indoor baseball training center. My daughter and I go there on occasion to use their cages. the machines always work, and there is plenty of space to take a group. The place is only a couple years old and the staff are friendly.
We first started going there for catcher practice for my daughter with faster pitching as well as hitting.
Price is reasonable and comparable to other cages. But the place is clean and open.
I started to take our van to the car wash as time can be a issue (and its a van not a muscle car). Anyway, I obtained a coupon for a oil change and car wash right on the premises. I was in and out in no time. Sometimes the line can get a little long but it moves well.
Look in the local 7-elevens and in mailers for their couples. They also have daily specials: Men's day, women's day, etc...
This Five Below has become the store that we go to when we need a little something extra for a kids birthday , and thank you or a just because gift. They have a variety of one off items that you don't have to buy in bulk to get a good price.
Teenagers can always find a neat item here. This store seems to be well maintained and organized. The staff are always helpful and know where there stuff is in the store.
Yearly I take my daughter to the flower-show and as tradition has it we always stop there. There is a wide variety of food, freshly made and it is always buzzing. There are a abundance of aromas from fresh baked bread, cheese steaks and anything in-between. There is also the Philly famous Termini Bakery who has your cannoli! When in Philadelphia make it a point to stop.
Sportz Central is a place that our team goes for hitting and workout practices. Its layout is pretty good and it can accommodate a decent amount of teams at once. There is an ample area for parents and spectators watching their kids train, however it is more a standing room kind of place. They have of pitching cages, machines and a exercise area. It is not a walk in batting cage place but is good for team training.
I recommend this kennel. The staff genuinely like animal and it is not just a job. My two labs come back looking good and I get them groomed at the end of the week. They are pretty flexible in their drop offs and pick ups. Their prices seem to be competitive. One time we dropped of our dog off for a stay. They were separate runs means they are big and they called see if it was ok to combined them as one seemed to be sad.
I recommend this place for your dog and cat sitting for your get a ways and would be in good hands.
