Oy Vey Bagel Cafe
I work right across the stree from Oy Vey. The new owners (for about a year) are fabulous. Service is excellent!!! Prices are very good too. I see a lot of people eating in the cafe but we usually get take-out. I highly recommend Oy Vey!
Simsbury Deli Convenience Str
Simsbury Bottle Shop has an excellent selection of wine. If they don't have what you like, they will order it for you. Prices are good and staff is friendly and helpful.
R J's Ice Cream & Bake Shop
This is a great little place to go if you're in the Suffield-Southwick area. They serve an excellent breakfast and lunch - and ice cream for any time. Staff is friendly and courteous and prices are great. I highly recommend it.
Take Five Inc
Take Five is a nice little restaurant located in Feeding Hills. I have gone here several times for breakfast or lunch. Parking isn't always easy but once you get your car parked and get inside, atmosphere is great, staff friendly and efficient, and prices good.
Olive Oil Restaurant
Olive Oil Restaurant is a great place to go to eat in Agawam. Food is very good and service is efficient, staff pleasant. Prices are relatively reasonable. Atmosphere is excellent.
Hartford Gun Club
My husband worked at the Hartford Gun Club while a teenager. He learned a lot there - about people, and about gun safety and management. I plan to purchase a membership for him for Christmas this year.
(Hope he's not reading this!)
Lomac Limited
We've been coming to Lomac for years. This is where my husband buys all parts and accessories for our John Deere tractor. Prices are good. They always have what you need or are able to order it to be received quickly. Staff couldn't be more helpful.
Market Grill
We had lunch at the Market Grill while visiting Seattle on the last day of a week-long meeting. The tuna melt was one of the best I've ever had. I can't identify the spices that made it different, and it wasn't really spicy, but had a distinct taste that was wonderful.
There was a lovely view of the Bay and lots to look at while eating. Service and prices were great.
La Creperie Voila
We stopped in at La Creperie while visiting Seattle but didn't purchase anything. It was a Sunday and lines were long. However, people who were eating were raving about how delicious the crepes were and people in line didn't seem to mind the wait. I would try it again if I came back.
Merry Tails
This may have been my favorite gift shop in Seattle. They had all kinds of pet-related goodies, including some really new and unusual things I hadn't seen in other such shops. Prices were reasonable and staff couldn't have been more helpful. When the lady who was helping me learned I was looking for horse items, she even went out back to find some things for me that had just arrived!
