We hired STP to perform tree pruning after receiving a low estimate. Well, it was too good to be true. Their crew did a competent, but incomplete job. They performed *half* of the scope of work they agreed to in the contract, and demanded immediate payment in full at the top of their estimate range. We requested that John review the project to estimate what was necessary to correct and complete the work, he threatened us with a lawsuit and terminated the relationship. Face-to-face, John was belligerent, angry, insulting, screaming, threatening, bullying, and all around unprofessional. He admitted that he had made a mistake in the contract, but then insisted that we pay for almost 80% of the price although just half the work was done. DO NOT HIRE SEATTLE TREE PRESERVATION -- their work is incomplete and incorrect, and their tactics for seeking payment are completely unprofessional.
