I love Hello Cutie and whenever I visit my brother in college I always get him to take me here. Despite its small size this store offers a lot from purses, to Asian candy, but most prominently Japanese related products such as anime, dolls and music. I always go here, even just to browse. The ambiance and decoration of this small establishment is cute as well so it's very welcoming to girls. I highly recommend it to those who stop by the Savannah Mall.
This store is bigger than Game Stop, which is found in the lower level of the mall, so this store offers more games and a larger variety of products. They also have more used games for those trying to find entertainment at a cheap price. I was usually able to find what I needed here at a discount price because it was used. Overall, I go here more for my video game shopping simply because it offers more than Game Stop.
The Matinee sells video games and movies with a small section dedicated to japanese manga and anime. For video games however, if you want a large variety, I would suggest going to Planet X or Gamestop. It is the same with those who want manga - you'll want to go to Borders. However, for those who want to watch something, this store specializes in movies, dvds, television series, and anime. Despite its small size you can usually find any viewing-related item here and at a reasonable enough price. I for example, found The Scarlet Pimpernel and the BBC version of Jane Eyre, which was difficult to find elsewhere.
Highly recommended from movie lovers to casual viewers.
We eat here occasionally when we go to the mall. They offer Asian oriented food from Chinese to Japanese sushi and all at a very cheap price. They give you large portions so one gets a lot for a little, which is good for those famished after a day a shopping and are light on the wallet.
Overall, recommended. The food is very filling and is sold at a very low price.
It may be surrounded by fast food restaurants such as MacDonald and Wendy's, but if you want a healthy and delicious alternative this is the place to go. My brother for example, always orders this salad which comes with chicken and warm, toasted bread and I always end up stealing it. Their menu items are unique, Greek oriented, and the price is reasonable. The food is great and fresh when compared to the other stores in the food court. You may not find a line here, but that is good news for those who like the food at Gyro.
I use to go here when I was younger; today, my little brother loves this place as much as I did. Despite the name they have a section for adults; however, this is a place where you should bring your kids. There's a special section for children which is decorated to suit their tastes. For example, they have fun shaped seats such as vehicles and airplanes. Usually they're showing a movie on the television screen. This extra effort in ambiance makes the place more welcoming for kids and, with such a colorful environment, they'll actually stay still for their haircut.
For kids who need haircuts this place is highly recommended.
I went here to celebrate my best friend's birthday and we had a wonderful time over ice cream. The ice cream was delicious and I was tempted to try out more of their flavors. The ambiance, though small, is welcoming while the staff is friendly. It's near a shopping center so the location is convenient for those who want something sweet after shopping. Highly recommended for ice cream lovers.
My little sister and I both got our first band instruments here through recommendation of our school. I had rented out a saxophone while my sister rented a trumpet; however, I do not suggest that one should rent an instrument. We had to pay monthly dues which added up and in the end, if you're involved in band, you're going to want to purchase and invest in an instrument. It was a hassle to return my saxophone at the end of the year only to go through the process of renting it out in order to participate in band the next year.
Nonetheless, even after four to eight years of use our instruments are still in good condition. Recommended if you're planning to be involved with band; however, I strongly suggest you buy an instrument rather than rent one out.
The store is small so they don't offer a large variety of song books; however, they do offer lessons to those who wish to learn an instruments. You'll find no pianos here though so this store is for those in band or into guitar.
I went here to get my alto saxophone fixed and properly tuned so that I may give it to someone who was joining a middle school band. It sounds fine now especially when compared to how it was before it was repaired. The price was reasonable although the cost of reeds was a little overwhelming. It costs much cheaper elsewhere, like middle school, than here. Nonetheless, despite the store's size they'll get the job done.
If you're driving by this road you will not miss this establishment. It is in the shape of a red barn house, which may look out of place among the other establishments, but I enjoy its welcoming ambiance. The ice cream here is amazing. It's hand made first of all and they offer a lot of flavors, toppings and even sugar-free ice cream for those with diabetics in the family. Overall, it is a very family friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended for those who want to treat the family and bond over delicious ice cream.
