This restaurant is not only large by size, but the portions are HUGE! And that is a good thing because the food is great. Be careful though and make sure to have a big appetite because even if you get a soup and salad you will have soup and salad to last you for two days!
Luna is a little South Hill secret. Luna offers fine meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is outdoor seating in the summer with a vine canopy and twinkle lights to set a most perfect atmosphere. The service is top notch, and the food is delicious! Perfect for a quite romantic dinner, or a meal with friends and family.
Located inside the historical davenport Hotel, this Spa offers a luxurious experience. Whether you just want a haircut or full day of pampering, Spa Paradiso makes everyone's experience seem like a special occasion. Would recommend to guest of the hotel and local residents!
When my Dad switched jobs we switched doctors and I started going the Grace Clinic. T. Colley is a nurse practitioner, but can still do all the functions of a doctor, with the added bonus that she is not as busy. She is so nice and the service is great. Twice I have had to call her on a Sunday regarding medical questions, and she has always answered my calls. Can't say enough!!
Maggie's is right on 29th and offers a good lunch menu. I normally get a sandwich and salad or substitute one for soup. It is a casual and relaxed atmosphere with good food. Good place to go and meet up with a friend.
The Bank of Whitman is a very financially secure bank, which given the state of our economy is very reassuring. The customer service is great. The tellers have always gone out of their way to make sure that all of my needs are met fast and efficiently. Even a top manager said hello to me as I was walking into the bank and asked if there was anything he could do for me. I am very impressed and feel very secure.
Right along the Spokane River, Clinkerdagger offers a great menu and view to customers. The half crab sandwich is my favorite for lunch along with a seat right next to the window. Also try their garlic bread, it sounds simple enough, but you are in for a treat! Top of the line restaurant in Spokane, with great atmosphere for impressing coworkers and friends.
Stuck in a cranny on the South Hill, Gordy's Sitchuan Cafe is one of the best Sitchuan places I have ever been too. The inside of the restaurant is rather small so make reservations, but you can also call and order out and pick up your food. Not really sure what Sitchuan is? Don't worry everything on the menu is great, the kung poa chicken is my favorite!
This new Twigs location is not only beautiful but the food and service is always great. Located right next to the man made pond, this Twigs offers a great view and outdoor seating in the summer. I have sampled much of the menu and all the dishes are wonderful and the service is fast despite its normally busy crowd. Start a meal off with some of there well-known calamari and you won't be disappointed!
Madeline's Cafe and Patisserie is one of Spokane's best kept secret. Located right downtown, this Mother/Daughter owned Cafe serves a mixture of fresh French foods and delicious patisseries. The atmosphere is fun yet sophisticated and the food is always great. They serves sandwiches, quiche, and a variety of salads and fresh fruit. But leave for dessert, because their patisseries are to die for!
