Uncle Yu's
The ambiance of this restaurant is fantastic! A couple dishes is a plenty amount of food for two people! The prices are alittle higher than I would like them to be, but for a once in a while treat - it is great! The service is exceptional! I don't think I ever received such great service! I mean, every time the waitress was at our table, she filled our tea cups (with a tea kettle that was sitting on our table) - just as an example! The owner was also there, ans walking around making sure everyone is pleased with their dining experience! If you haven't been - try it out!
Sozo Sushi Restaurant
I was introduced to this restaurant from a friend and I LOVE it! They have the best food - everything that I have tried is so tasty and fresh! I love their bento box deals - good prices - good food selection! The service is good. The place is always packed, but I have never waited more than a few minutes for a table.
Katrina's Alterations
My first time into this shop was not the best - the sign said they were open, but the girl working there had locked up and left - I had to call her and wait for her to show up. Then she was very hard to understand - it seemed like she was asking me what to do - but in the end I was extremely pleased with my dress alteration! My dress fit perfectly... and that is what I think is important! I went in to have my dress altered and it was - PERFECTLY!
Gesinee's Bridal
I absolutely loved this place! I went in for a bridal appointment as well as a bridesmaid appointment for my upcoming wedding. The lady that helped us was so sweet and she was such a big help! You can tell that she was so excited and happy about her job, which I personally enjoyed because it made my experience as a soon to be bride shopping for her dress, so much better! I have since gone back a couple times to talk with the girls who work there.. the get their advice on some details and they have been great! I would recommend this bridal shop to anyone getting married!
Frazee Paint & Wallcovering
When my fiance and I first moved into Livermore, the walls in the house we moved into were not in the best shape. My fiance raved about this paint store. He had taken pictures of spots on the wall that were not in good shape, went into Frazee and they helped him out - told him exactly what he needed and how to fix the issues. If you need some great service/ help from some staff that knows about painting... Frazee is the place to go!
Sushi Bar Hana
This restaurant has a great location... they use to be in the Danville Hotel, but now they have moved into the clock tower (still downtown). The restaurant itself is a little small, but well worth the wait if there is one. The service is always phenomenal! It is a family owned restaurant, so they take enormous pride in it. Most of the customers have been going there for years and have watched the owners kids grow up. The food is always fresh and delicious. The prices are not too bad! And I have not yet found a better salad dressing! Keep this place in mind when you want some GREAT sushi!
Sushi Yokohama
This restaurant is located close to downtown - the size of the restaurant is good - service is always great.The food is AWESOME! It is always fresh. The prices are affordable too... especially for sushi! I highly recommend this restaurant!
Elephant Bar Restaurant - Concord
I love their appetizers! The appetizers is actually the reason I go there. And the ambiance. The way the inside is decorated is really neat! The prices are not that bad... and every time I have gone, the service has been good.
El Faro
This Mexican restaurant is the BEST I have ever been to... and my favorite food is Mexican! It is not a sit down restaurant, you go through a line, pick what you want, they make it and you can take it to go or sit and eat. Their prices are on the cheap side, you get huge portions and it tastes great! I would recommend this place to everyone! There is also one in South San Francisco too! Keep this place in mind when you are looking for some outstanding Mexican food!
Lumpia House
This is a small little family owned restaurant right off the freeway... they have excellent food! I love it. The price is reasonable, the amount of food you get is plenty to fill you up! They even have catering available. We have ordered some dishes from there for our work pot-lucks. Delicious!
