Mousehouse Cheesehaus
We stopped at the Mousehaus to see that is was. We found it was family owned and operated and has been supplying customers with the finest in Wisconsin Cheese since 1988 or so they say. After sampling some cheese we made a few purchases and vowed to go back. I think this would be a great place to get that favorite cheese as gifts or take some to a party. I would difinity go back again.
Waunakee Furniture Etc
We shopped at Waunakee Furniture Etc. and found the staff to be very helpful and considerate of our needs and tastes. We purchased end tables that we just love! This store is in an old building right in downtown Waunakee on Hwy 19 and parking is easy right in front of the building. The store is bursting with furniture of all types and we enjoyed looking at everything. We would not hesitate to purchase there again as we feel we got good quality for the price.
Morels Restaurant
Authentic Wisconsin cuisine set in the peaceful Wisconsin country side. Offering hand cut prime steaks to jet fresh fish, seafood, and unique wild game dishes, we found our group selected a bit of variety All enjoyed what they ordered very much. With an extensive wine and beverage list in all price ranges drinks were not a problem either. We all sincerely enjoyed ourselves and look forward to going back again. Of interest is the museum of animals in their bar area. Dress is casual to dressy.
Little Strokes Swim Academy
A swim school run by experienced and qualified instructors teaching the proper technique of swimming to your child. Starting classes can be as young as 6 months of age to accustomed your child to the water. Understanding the potential in each child and utilizing their teaching skills to teach safe, correct and efficient swimming appears to be the goal of these instructors. Sessions are limited to a few children in each class which offers a lot of personal attention to each child. My granddaughter has attended Little Strokes for 5 years and enjoys it very much. She is learning to be a very good swimmer and I am very impressed with the academy.
Kittelson Swim School
Kittleson Swim School has been recognized as the premier school for swim instructions for babies and youth. Offering many advantages for your child to learn to swim and enjoy the water it is no wonder your child will love it. My nephew attends classes at Kittleson and I have witnessed his growing abilities. Kittleson's new aquatic facility in Fitchburg, WI. has a large glassed off area for parents to watch without the heat and humidity of the pool room. There are many classes offered both day and evening and also fun events. A must see if you are considering starting your child in a swim class.
Little Treasures Preschool
My grandson goes to Little Treasures and I must say I am genuinely impressed with the teacher and staff. The fears of my grandson and other children when embarking upon this new big change in their lives was easily handled by Little Treasures personal. Offering pictures, project and interaction with other children of the same age in a safe and cheerful environment is so important and this preschool is tops!
China Wok
We adore the China Wok Chinese Restaurant in Waunakee! The food is fantastic and there is a large selection available of well made chinese dishes. They offer a buffet at lunch weekdays that draws a large crowd and also offer the buffet Wed thru Sun evenings. The cost of the food is very reasonable and the atmosphere is comfortable. The service is prompt and polite.
Tano's Pizza
We use Tano's Pizza delivery for some yummy pie! It arrives fast, fresh and hot. Tasty too! Ingredients have always seemed fresh and pie usually baked just right. Prices are quite comparable to other delivery pizza businesses. Delivery persons are polite.

We have used Flower Fashions for years when we've wanted to send flowers to people. A business located in the home of the owner it is a great place to get personal attention in choosing just the right bouquet to send. The owner is easy to communicate with and I recommend Flower Fashions when you need to send flowers.
Kittleson Landscape, Inc.
When our old retaining wall collapsed we searched around to find just the right business to handle our big job and decided to hire Kittleson Landscape Inc because they show genuine interest and concern for our project. We are very pleased with the walls they built for us made of granite boulders. The work area was steep and tricky but they new exactly how to handle the terrain. The perennials we added look fantastic and add texture and color throughout the growing season. Kittleson has been in business for 19 years and is a trusted business. They will do landscape design, sod or seeded lawns and also install plants and trees and more. Commercial or residential.
