This place was fun. The drinks were good and the bowling was quite reasonable compared to other bowling establishments. The service was good, the balls only got plugged up once, but they fixed it right away. The bowling room is small, it is attached to the bar where they have patio seating. They played good music that got everyone dancing. This is unlike most places downtown...its a tavern and a bowling alley!
I really love this place but the design center messed up my order. The girl acts like she totally knows what she's doing and that she's listening to every word, but in fact she's really in a hurry to get it all down and move on to her next appointment. I unfortuately, trusted her and didn't scour over the contract for my wedding flowers to find that she made some mistakes. Also, make sure that you see the photos or provide photos of what you want, because what you describe and what she says it is called (and puts on the contract) could be two very different things.
Otherwise, I like this place, they have a large selection of things and the people at the counter are always willing to help you come up with ideas within your budget.
They do have really great beer, but you have to go for the experience. The food is so-so, but the place is fun and a perfect place to go with friends. Maybe stick with appetizers!
PROS: New place, beautiful garden area
CONS: In Escondido, service and food hit or miss
I have ordered food here many times and it has always been very good. I like the decor in the restaurant, but also I like that how quick they prepare the food when you order take out. It is also very close to the beach, so you can always take a stroll after dinner.
PROS: Great food, nice place
CONS: Parking (never really great in PB)
I really liked this place. It was fun and they actually had a couple of healthy food items on menu, like the seared Ahi sandwich. Yum! The place is fairly small but there are lots of places to sit, they have comfy sofas, a bar and an upstairs area with a firepit on the patio that overlooks the beach. Definitely worth checking out.
I really love this place. They have the most amazing Vietnamese food! If you order Pho, it is the same as most places. Their menu is more diverse and sets them apart from the others. Their fried spring rolls and fried rice are my favorites! Quick inexpensive lunch and great service, you can't go wrong.
They have really great noodle soup and spring rolls along with many other types of Vietnamese food. It is very authentic and if you like coffee order the Vietnamese coffee pronounced Cafe Sadah. It takes a while to brew at your table. Once it finishes brewing you mix it up with condensed milk they put in the bottom of your glass and voila! It is also really good on ice! The limeaid is great too, but extra sweet.
Spices is called Spices for a reason. Anything over a 4 is unedible for most. This is a popular place for RB workers to eat for lunch. The service is good and their is a good selection, but I would say that the chicken can be dry so if you like seafood go for the shrimp.
Very good bagels! I love coming here for lunch because they make the best California bagel sandwiches with turkey, bacon and avocado. You get to choose your bagel and your toppings, they make them right in front of you. I also frequently order bagels for work here, they have never messed up my order!
If you have a car no under warranty visit Dan he'll take care of you. These guys are honest and will quote you a reasonable price for the parts and labor. If you know the problem and you get the parts yourself and bring them in, they will only charge you for the labor. I like these guys, I've always had a good experience working with them!
