Cozy Tots is well organized. I first went to shop and couldn't believe the deals on clothes, toys, etc for my son. I decided to cosign for the fall. They make everything easy for you to drop off and pick up and when you receive your payment, they provide the breakdown for you to review. I'll be doing again in the spring for sure!
I loved going to Haegele's with my grandmother - she would get the George Washington cake and I, the raspberry twists. We'd go in for one item and come out with bags of goodies. They have the best fastnachts for donut day too! Their staff is friendly and they keep you coming back.
Great food, great price! They also do parties, my friend had their wedding rehearsal there and the staff took care of everything. Love going back into Philly and stopping at Joseph's.
I'm very happy with the cut and color that I receive from Gary Charles. Mare is an excellent stylist...I wish she could be at my house daily to hook me up. The colorists do great work as well.
I use Fill A Bagel when I need something for a meeting or when I have a crowd at my house and need a quick breakfast. They have a lot of different spreads - veggie is my favorite. Staff is friendly and service is on point.
Joshua's is great for a quick lunch or take out for dinner...their chicken cutlet is AWESOME, throw it on top of the enormous (and yummy) caesar salad and you have lunch (and dinner!)
I always check Glenside before heading to the Lowe's or Home Depot. They have a lot of the items you are looking for and it's nice to receive the personalized service.
I've used Penny's multiple times. They have a beautiful sympathy basket garden that has received many compliments. They have a substantial selection of items to choose from. They are on the pricey side but for what you get, it's hard to complain too much!
Police and Fire Federal Credit Union is where I do all of my banking. I've also gotten a mortgage, car loan and credit card from them. Their service is top notch, you receive an answer in seconds regarding approval and you can also get a new debit card right in their office. They are also opening additional branches which makes it easier for those outside the city to access their money.
It is so refreshing to find an auto mechanic that doesn't try to snow you! We started taking our cars to him a little over 2 years ago and my most recent experience is why I won't change. My new (used) car needed to be inspected. After only having for 3 months, Bob told me that my tire treads were dry rotted and that two boots were cracked and grease was getting all over everything and if not fixed got to my brakes, could cause lots of trouble for me. He said that all should be fixed by the dealer and that if we ever were planning on purchasing a car again, to bring it to him for a full eval before buying. He's honest, straightforward and will not charge you for something you don't need.
