I'v lived in Hawaii and have obviously had much better Sushi other places. But out of all the places in Atlanta I'd say this one would probably be the best one to go to. Nothing extravagant but still good. The service was good too!
A great place to finish the evening. Excellent desserts and comfy seating. Go on a cold night and you won't want to leave. yummy try the chocolate cake and a glass of wine!
We live nearby and waited anxiously for this spot to open. We have been several times now and have not been disappointed! The menu has been slightly different each time we have been--and our waiter, Paul, mentioned that the chef offers locally available ingredients that may change daily--another plus. I have had the Beet Salad every time I have been as I admit I am a huge beet fan. Wonderful. The Daily Ceviche is also recommended--I had scallop one visit and tuna the next. We also have tried the Steak Fritte and the Braised Pork Shank and Polenta, and both were very good. The chef is obviously talented and very creative. The service was very accommodating on all of our visits also--but certainly not overbearing. Another plus--the bar is a great spot to get a drink before or after dinner--we did BOTH! We felt like we got a great value for what we have spent on every visit--my wife actually said that she thinks they should raise their prices!(I hope they do not) We will definitely be back!
I chose to visit during the week and received exceptional service. The experience was wonderful from time we entered the door till the time we left. The servers were very helpful with deciding what to choose from the menu. Great job!!!
If you sit at the bar the service is great. All of the bartenders are friendly, and make sure you get what you need. However, the floor service is really inconsistent... sometimes they are there, and other times they are not. The menu is nice... you aren't locked into the typical wings and burgers. i have had almost everything on the menu (I live across the street), but the grilled steak sandwich is tops on this menu. Tuesdays are nice, $5 get you a big cold pitcher of Standard suds. Outdoor seating is nice for days when the bar is packed. And there is a very cool little "glass" room that is nice for a group to use, with its very own flat screen. Some friends and I try and get that little room for Braves vs. Cubs games.
Very modern and cozy. The food is pretty darn good. I like the sushi and the 96-Hour Marinated Ribeye is great, one of the best i have ever had actually.
Nikolai's is my husband and my anniversary present every year. We look forward to our annual dinner all year. The service is outstanding (we typically have Richard), the food is always a delightful surprise, the sommelier is, literally, one of the best in the world, the view spectacular. They treat us as if we are weekly regulars. An extravagant indulgence.
Peasant Bistro is the newest addition to the Peasant family. You may be familiar with the Pleasant Peasant and Mick's downtown. Peasant Bistro has similar food, a great location overlooking Centennial Olympic Park, and excellent service. I'm not sure I'd rank this as one of my favorite restaurants in the city, but it's definitely above average. The scallops and risotto entree was delicious!
If you are in downtown Atlanta and want a wonderful meal, this is a great place to go. The prices are reasonable and the portions are good. If there is a function at the dome, it may be crowded, reservations are accepted. Durango's is also diet friendly.
This is a best vegetarion place in Atlanta area.Try anything and you wont be disappointed. Excellent service nad very friendly people create great enviroment.
