Hill's is a small office supply store, the also carry magazines & newspapers. I found them to be friendly, clean & informative as to where things are in Long beach.
This lady has some of the murals outside of Marsh museum. She does art tiles, mosaics & beautiful murals. The price is expensive, but probably competitive for the area.
NW visual arts is where the locals go, they have private classes and workshops. If you call well in advance & plan on being in long beach for more than a few days, I highly recommend taking a workshop/
Picture attic is full of art supplies, rubber stamps and paper crafts. They have a digital developer & frames. Its fun to take in your camera card, get the pictures & give as a gift before even finishing your vacation.
Nautical brass is an amazing little store, if you love the ocean & ships this is the place to shop. There gifts are quality, expensive but well worth the price. The few we have bought look as good as the day we purchased them.
Harmony soaps is fun to walk thru, they have every scent of soap imaginable. They make all the soaps themselves & have many different shapes & forms. I love the price & colors.

Sirens has both new & consigned clothing & gifts. It is a great place to buy something you may of forgotten to pack. I also never seem to leave without buying some kind of unique nic knac..
Peninsula Laundry was clean, had a machine to buy detergent from, machines all worked and they had the big dryers. I liked how fast & easy it was to get all the laundry done.
