I knew Dr. Stein back when she was simply "Rhonda" and we were both students at Northwestern. I remember her as an idealistic pre-med who was motivated by a desire to help people. Decades later, I have re-connected with her because she is now my mother's doctor. I am happy to report that Rhonda has remained true to her idealism and has become a very caring, thoughtful, and competent physician. She takes her time, listens, asks questions, and generally appears concerned. My mother loves her and I am grateful that she is under the care of such a good doctor.
