This small business offers a large selection of campers; they also offer service and repairs. Although I have never purchased a recreational vehicle from them, I have looked at different models that they carry. They have a wide variety of great campers!

This little business publishes a weekly newspaper. The paper is a great source to find out what is going on around town, particularly about sporting events, weddings, deaths, and so on.

This small consignment shop carries an outstanding selection of top quality, nearly new clothing for infants and children. The prices, although more than yard sale prices, are fair because the clothing is of very good quality.
Macomb Country Club
Macomb Country Club offers a beautiful 18-hole golf course that is challenging and fun. The restaurant offers excellent food in Mulligan's, a club-like room where the bar is situated, or in a more formal dining room. Nonmembers can rent the facilities for private meetings, dinners, receptions, and dances.

I am a member of this country club. The restaurant food is the best in town!! They have specials throughout the week: on Thursday nights you can get $.50 peel and eat shrimp; on Wednesdays the special is all you can eat fried chicken. The hamburgers are made with excellent beef and in my opinion are the best around. If you are not a golfer, social memberships are available that allow restaurant usage and frequently planned social events.

This conveniently located small center, located in the Amtrak Station, is a good source of help in making travel plans. They will book trips for you; they will also book hotel reservations, obtain train tickets, or secure airline reservations. They have gotten back to me quickly with my questions. I just hate to pay a fee for tickets that I can easily book myself for no addition charge.
Wayland Ready Mix Concrete
I needed to call this business for help on something that I knew nothing about. The man that answered the phone sounded like a senior citizen; he was rude and unaccommodating. I purchased sand for underneath an above ground pool from this establishment; the sand had more sharp little rocks in it than what I have purchased elsewhere.
Little Java House
This tiny shop offers a great variety of flavors for non-alcoholic smoothies and different varieties of coffee. Last time I was there I sampled something called "bubble tea;" I found it to be very good! I love to stop here when I have to drive a distance for a drink to go. The owner is always welcoming and courteous.
Cafe Aroma
This restaurant is a little off the beaten path as it is not located in the downtown area or on the commercialized Jackson Street where most other restaurants in town are located. This cafe is conveniently located near W.I.U. They have a very good selection of sandwiches and salads; service is fast and courteous. I have eaten there twice and have not been disappointed; the portion size is very large, especially on the salads.
