This is an awesome barber shop where men can hang out and talk about man stuff. Last time I was there, I ended up talking to my barber and the 12-year old kid sitting next to me about football. Sounds like my kind of place to get a haircut.
Scottrade is an excellent discount brokerage. Their $7 commissions are some of the lowest in the industry, and their customer service cannot be matched by any other firm. If you experience any problems with your account (even minor ones), a broker is on hand from 8:30am-5:00pm to help you. Highly recommended.
Slocum's is great. The bar in the back has a great atmosphere, and prices for bowling are cheap. Tuesday nights are college nights, so you can bowl for a while without spending too much money. Great place to hang out once in a while.
Great service here at Scotch Road Cleaners. Brought my suit in and it was pressed perfectly the next day. The guys who own the place are hysterical too. Seems like the place I'd go to drop something off and end up chatting for 20 minutes.
Sure it doesn't have a very romantic atmosphere - the lights are all on brightly and it looks more like a pizza place than a fancy restaurant - but it's not trying to be fancy. Harini is a great place to just get some quality Indian food. Their dosas are HUGE and their other food is delicious too. The Pav Bhaji I ordered when I visited was perfect. Highly recommended.
I've eaten at Udupi too many times to count, and every experience has been terrific. Their food is top-notch, especially their Malai Kofta and Dosas. Staff is very courteous. Highly recommended.
Went here for breakfast with some friends. Ordered a breakfast burrito, and it turned out to be very good. Like a lot of restaurants in Montclair, Toast is very small, but it has two floors so it doesn't seem as crowded. Great place to go to for breakfast.
For some unknown reason, Mamma Mia's Pizzeria closed a few years ago. That means a new "king of pizzas" of North Bloomfield needs to be named. Mario's Pizza is good - nothing spectacular - but good enough to serve this role as best pizza - for now.
Pretty standard-fare pizza. I'd get a slice if I was walking by and was in the mood for pizza, but I doubt I'd ever order from these guys specifically.
This is the only place I order pizza from in Monroe Township. It tastes great and is never burnt. It's amazing that pizza can be so difficult to get right, but Luigi's knows what they're doing.
