Cajun Cafe & Grill is a favorite when we are at the mall. They always have samples available, usually Bourbon Chicken, but will let you try anything if you are not familiar with it. Steamed veggies are a plus. Prices are good and portions enough to take home leftovers.
Located in a new office complex with lots of parking. The clinic is on the small side but well organized. The staff is very knowledgeable and explained each of the procedures before starting and eased me into them especially when I was in extreme pain.
Hovan Gourmet is one of my favorite eateries at the Seminole Towne Centre in Sanford. They have a good selection of rolled 'sandwiches' which are not heavy on the bread and a variety of salads.
I have attended First United Methodist Church since 1997 and my son attended the preschool. Fran and her staff are awesome Christian teachers. Fran established the preschool over 25 years ago and has been the director ever since. We recently had the opportunity to enjoy a preschool / church picnic and visit with new and old faces.
Great location within the Orange City Wal-mart. For many years, I have had my hair cut here. Sometimes I've gone in and it's been so busy that I've had to pass; others I put my name on the list, get an estimate of the wait time, and do some non-perishable shopping while waiting. I have been happy with each stylist that I have used. My favorite one unfortunately has changed shops.
Overall I have been happy with the hair stylists at this new location which is close to home. Depending on the stylist you prefer and the time of day, you may have a wait. I was a little disappointed on my last visit when the stylist conditioned my hair without asking and then added the charge to my bill.
Chip's Monument & Stone Company has been in business for decades. I first bought a birdbath there over twenty years ago -- it's still in service. They also carry monuments and markers as well as statues and water fountains.
My favorite meal at Bakely's is breakfast. The cooks here know how to cook eggs to order and the waffles are delicious. When we first started eating here, the main attrraction for our toddler son was the railroad crossing just down the street. The waitresses were very understanding when my husband would dash out with him to see the train go by -- no reflection on the food whatsoever. You can sit at the long curvy counter or at a table or in a booth.
My husband and I are both 'hams', and Amateur Electronic Supply is the place to go shopping. The staff are very knowledgable and helpful. Extensive variety of both new and used radios.
Timmy's Toy Chest is a treasure trove of high quality toys for kids of all ages. From construction sets to dolls, they have all the things that you won't find at the major retailers.
