The Timber has the biggest beer mugs I have ever enjoyed. There are reasonably priced and need I say huge. The slider burgers are my favorite. I also really like the hotter than h*** chicken strips. I still don't know why I eat them, bu they are good. If Julie is your server be sure to ask her to do her Palin, it is priceless.
We stopped in after playing paintball. The waitress was really cool and even offered us ice for our aching paint ball wounds. I had a logger burger, it was huge and awesome. Since our first time stopping in our group of paintballers have made the Spar Pole our official post game hangout.
My friend and I were going to the wrecking just down the road from the Chalet. We were hungry and figured we could get some food at the bar. Wrong unless you call bags of chips food. The beer was over priced and the service was slow.
The Whitehorse has been in Tukwila for as long as I can remember. My favorite memory of the Whitehorse was the night my friends and I were drinking and into the bar walked Joe Perry. Aerosmith was in Seattle for a concert and for some reason he was at the Whitehorse. He was with a few people and it seemed like he was just looking to hang out. After a while his group got louder and out came a guitar. WOW, he rocked. Everyone in the bar was invited to party with his group, on his tab. Whenever I tell my friends this story they all say, NO WAY! My answer is simple, I was there!!!
I work near the Forbidden City and eat there at least 3 times a week. I personally think they have the best eggs rolls I have ever eaten. I also really enjoy the lettuce wraps. They just started offering these and I am glad they did. They also have a cool happy hour with 1/2 price appetizers. I highly recommend the egg rolls!.
the bar and restaurant are in the giant building the is the home to an indoor motorcross track. I went with a friend to watch his brother ride. we got a cool seat that over looked the entire track. the beer was a little high priced and the service was slow, but they were busy. Since my this visit I have taken friends by for a cold one. everyone loves the on going motorcross riders. Definitely a one of a kind place.
The Sumner food center has been is Sumner for as long as I can remember. It is owned by a family now and they are very nice. I usually stop in at three times a week for something. They don't have everything but they usually have what I need. I really like there burritos and egg rolls.
I like to go Lisa's on Saturday mornings. They make a great mocha. During the holidays they I had a peppermint mocha, wow it was awesome. They don't ever seem to be that busy, just steady. They always have a dog biscuit for my dogs and smile for me. Give them a try, it is worth it.
I was in Orting looking at a house and I was starving. I have driven by CC's many times and never stopped. My mistake. I stopped in today and was treated to the best club sandwhich and salad that I have had in years. The sandwhich was huge, with real turkey and bacon. The blue cheese dressing was very good, only have had better at Red Robin. The next time I am in Orting I will be eating at CC's.
We discovered the Smokehouse about six months ago, now I make trips to Black Diamond for no other reason except to go to the Smokehouse. I LOVE the smoked turkey and ham. The ribs are also really good. The prices are very reasonable and the service is second to none. It is worth the trip to Black Diamond.
