The Bridge ::cinema de lux::
They single-handedly brought a good film viewing experience for mainstream films back to Philadelphia.
A good art house experience was still possible, but it used to be a nightmare of talking and cellphones at most other theaters.
Th Bridge is always my first choice - there I know I can watch a film without needless, inconsiderate interruptions.
I have used DeVecchis Gallery quite often to have work framed for exhibitions or items for myself, gifts for friends, etc.
Rita and Bunky (John) are both accomplished photographic artists - they share their expertise to help your framed pieces look exquisite.
Materials are top-notch - you pay a bit more, however it is worth it.
I have used this framing company several times.
Chen is extremely helpful and his frames are precise and clean - adding to any artwork you care to display in them.
Their prices are fantastic for the quality you get.
Canvas Cafe Company is a good little neighborhood coffee shop.
Service is always friendly - coffee is quite good, really enjoy their espresso.
They also have a decent selection of food and snacks
Mixto's strength is it's bar - hanging out having drinks here can be a lot of fun.
Food is a bit underwhelming, I really expected better.
Service was much too slow.
Recently tried Cantina Dos Segundos, was sad to see Azure go, however I was delighted by the quality of the food.
Took me back to the outstanding food I had not too long ago in Mexico City.
I will definitely be dining here more often.
Over the years I always make it a point to stop in Garland Of Letters and pick up interesting and unique gifts for my friends and family.
Not just new age fare - beautiful jewelry, leather bound journals, etc. can be found here.

Very good place to purchase comic books or comic related gifts for friends or family that enjoy the medium.
They have a helpful, knowledgeable staff here.
It's great to still have places like AKA Music in the city, there have been too many big chains with boring mainstream selections of music.
More diversity here, stop in support a local business.
I go here quite often - really love their Dolsot Bibim Bap w/ spicy pork. As is the BBQ items, grills run a bit too hot so be quick when your cooking.
The Banchan isn't that diverse, however it is always fresh.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
