This is a good option near Dupont. They have both pizza and greek food. The pizza is pretty good for DC I have to say. The portion on the falafel platter I found to be somewhat small and overpriced. All in all though, a good choice for lunch or a cheap dinner.
This bakery I thought was decent but doesn't compare to Vegan Treats bakery. The brownies and cookies were decent I'd say. The breakfast sandwich is something different and somewhat tasty. But the best are their cinnamon buns - yum! Hard to believe they are vegan.
I've always had great meals here at H20. Excellent service, nice decor, everything has always been very fresh and well seasoned. Prices aren't too bad either.
I was a student here myself many years ago and not surprised to see this place still in business after 20 years. Chorus Line is a step above other places with a Dance Company and out of this world recitals.
If you like candles, incense, 60s memorabilia and all that goes with it, this is the place for you. In business for years, it attracts a lot of hippie types and you can definitely get some unique gifts here.
If you need something quick and don't feel like going to a big store, this is an option. They do grooming as well. I just find it to be very sparsely stocked but perhaps the grooming is really their bread and butter.
I have had 2 great experiences and then the last time, not so much. I always order the same entree, palak paneer, and it's usually incredibly delicious but the last time it was extremely oily and had a very odd taste to it. But I didn't get upset until we complained about the dish, and weren't treated so nicely in response. They did ultimately not charge us for that. Not sure if I'd go back.
As a New Yorker, I was pleasantly surprised to find delicious Italian food in Syracuse. We did not have a reservation but they were very accommodating on a very busy Sat,. night. Our waiter was wonderfully attentive. The eggplant parm was delicious and they had nice wine choices. Great meal!
This was a popular place to eat lunch with the coworkers when working in rego park. Kind of like an Irish Pub, serving your basic sandwiches and pub dare. They also offer a buffet with soup, salad etc. Low prices.
This is a high priced seafood restaurant offering great service and some very interesting menu options - this was the first time I ate something with a foam on it, it was interesting. The view of the Rockefeller rink is what makes it worthwhile for me. Definitely overpriced but you are getting a very gourmet experience.
