We've used Allyn for many years after switching from a larger company. They are family owned and much more responsive to their customers. Their oil prices are HIGHLY competitive, often much lower than the big guys, and their service department is incredible. We still have an older burner (on the wall in the kitchen) and they keep it humming along. We once had to call early on Christmas morning, and someone was here to fix the burner within an hour. Now THAT's service.
We used Brian to replace the baseboard in our kitchen during a remodel. He did the work himself assisted by his brother, worked very quickly and completely cleaned up the jobsite. No problems with his work either. I would use his again if I need a plumber.
If you like Shish Kabobs, you'll love this restaurant. The place is small, but very nicely set up. The food is fantastic. Start off with the house salad, and then enjoy any of their delicious entrees. The chicken and lamb kabobs are especially great. Portions are just right, and prices are very reasonable, even for drinks. The service is also very good.
I have used Pete's several times when I had to have my car towed from my house to the dealer for repair. They have always been prompt, carefully loaded the car on a flatbed truck, and delivered it quickly to the service department. My car has never even gotten a scratch while they had it. Their charges seem fair too. I can strongly recommend them.
I often stop by Lenny's after shopping for a slice or one of their excellent calzones for lunch. You can eat there, or take it to go. They also have their menu posted on their website so you can call or email your order and have it ready for pickup if you want to skip cooking and bring a great dinner home.
If you need food for a party or BBQ, they can set you up with platters of cold cuts or hot foods all at reasonable prices. The food is excellent and ready for pickup on time. They also offer everything a smaller deli would - cold cuts, bread, milk eggs, etc. They also have a lot of breakfast and lunch specials, with a different one each day.
Not a bad place to hang out with friends and have a few drinks after a softball game. The beer is cold and the food OK. It does get a bit loud at times, but that's part of the fun.
This is a perfect place to stop for a meal anytime you are in the area. The place is spotless, the staff friendly, and the food excellent. If you let them know you are on a lunch break, they make sure your food is quickly prepared and served. If you want to take your time and have a leisurely meal, no one rushes you.
The burger platters come with the best fries I've had in a diner. And they REALLY excell at making omelets. I always ask for french fries instead of hash browns, that's how good the fries are. Coffee is always fresh and hot, and the staff makes sure your cup is always full without asking.
TSS Stamps has moved several times - this is the most recent location. But the ownership hasn't changed and the service is truly great. If you collect stamps, coins or baseball cards, you will enjoy checking through their large inventory of collectibles and supplies. If they don't stock something, they can usually get it for you.
An Italian-American bakery that really stands out at Easter and Christmas when they have a lot of holiday baked goods. If you love canolis, this is the place to visit. Their cookies and brownies are wonderful too!
