Denny's is a very popular place with Moms, especially when camp time comes around. They carry a very large stock of popular good quality kid's clothes, from babies to toddlers to pre-teen, all at very reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful and will cheerfully assist you in finding whatever you are looking for.
If you really like Thai food, you really should try Jaiya. The appetizers are so good that you might be tempted to make a meal just out of these with maybe a bowl of soup. Entrees are generously sized, and the staff makes sure they are spiced to your taste. Spiced HOT means just that, medium-hot is just right for most people.Service is really excellent, and the staff will explain each item, both regular menu items and specials. They don't try to rush you through your meal, yet make sure you don't wait a long time between courses. The restauraunt itself is decorated nicely. It is very clean and tables are spaced far enough apart they you don't feel like you are sharing a table with everyone else. The only negative thing I can say about Jaiya is they need more parking.
The food at Lemonleaf is first-class. The hot-and-sour soup has just the right amount of heat, and the Chicken with Basil is the best I've ever tasted. Portions are generous, and two entrees can easily be shared by three.
My only complaint is that the service is inconsistent. On some visits, the wait staff is so attentive that they seem to anticipate your every need; on other visits, you practically have to yell for attention.
The quality of their meats and Italian specialities is excellent. The counter staff is friendly and attentive, and will gladly cut your meat and slice your cold cuts to order. They will even make recommendations for your special occasion.
While this is not the place for fashionistas, it is a good choice for decent clothes at bargain prices. The store is clean and well organized, and the staff very helpful.
Dortoni's bakery has been a fixture in Levittown for over 30 years -THE place to go for delicious cakes, pies, cookies, pastries and more. Prices are bit high, but well worth it. My only complaint is that service is not the greatest, sometimes you can be ignored if the counter person is talking to a friend.
Gino's belongs to the teenagers during the day - it is a favorite hangout for Island Trees High School. The pizza is OK, except for the Grandma Pizza which is excellent.
Evenings is the time for adults to enjoy dinner. Prices are reasonable, service is good, and the food comes in good size portions.
Dr. Weinstein, and the other doctors of Eye Care Associates, provide nothing less than World Class eye care for the community. Dr. Weinstein is a highly experienced physician and lasik specialist, recognized as one of "Long Island's Best". He is extremely thorough and patient, and will gladly take the time to answer all your questions.
The staff is caring and efficient. You rarely have a long wait for a scheduled appointment (unless there is an emergency), and if your appointment has to be delayed, someone will explain why and offer to reschedule.
I can highly recommend this practice and have been a patient there for over 20 years.
If you like to fix your own refrigerator, stove, washer, dryer, etc. and you need a part, visit Brighton Parts and Supply. They stock parts for most major manufacturers, and can special order anything not in stock. The retail counter staff is friendly and multi-lingual.
While the company caters mainly to appliance repair companies, BPR does have a retail counter where they sell to the general public. They carry parts for most major manufacturers. If you want to fix your own washer, stove, fridge, etc, this is the place to go for replacement parts. If they don't stock the part you need, they can get it for you. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.
