I really enjoy this small noe valley bookstore! The place is rather small but they do have a nice selection. The staff is extraordinarily helpful. Its definitely the best bookstore in noe valley.
I love this place! The mountain is huge and the runs are super long. If you stay at the embassy suites you can take the gondola from the back parking lot right up to the slopes and never have to drive or take a shuttle. There are 4 beginner slopes (green) and they vary from very easy right up to a mile long intermediate slope with tight turns and narrow but fast areas. pack a lunch if you can because basic hot dogs are $8.
This is a great lunch spot if you're willing to spend a touch over $10. The pizza's are delicious. The place is kind of small, so if you're group is over 6 people it might be a little tough to get a seat.
Nothing special about this place at all really. The pork chop was very good and they do have a decent wine list, but this place just didn't have much personality
I really enjoy the burritos here. The tofu burrito is especially delicious and I really like the salsa.
Dave's is a very divey bar that also serves sandwiches and salads. The ruben is surprisingly good but the chili left me feeling a bit nauseous. they do however have a fair amount of beers on tap.
On the good side, this place has a great beer selection. 12 taps of some great micro brews. On the bad side, the pizza is just mediocre. There are many places in San Francisco, and even the mission which have better pizza. Go to Delfinas if you want the best pizza in the mission
I love a good neighborhood cafe, and thats exactly what atlas is. The food is very good for a cafe, especially the pork sandwich. They also offer up free live bluegrass every thursday. They also have great tea, and draft beer.
If you're really lazy and dont want to walk over 1 block for you coffe then starbucks is the place. San Francisco has WAY too many fantastic coffee shops for you to waste your money on a mediocre cup of coffee
This place is exactly what a coffee shop should be. I live about 1/2 a mile from this place and actually have another coffee shop right on my corner, but I will walk over to martha & brothers every time I want a cup of coffee or breakfast. Their prices are good ($2.25 large iced coffee) and their lox bagel has more salmon on it than any place in the city. This is my favorite coffee shop in the city!
