Divine Taste has expanded a couple of years ago and added even more to their extensive selection of high-end international foods. You can find fun pasta shapes for kids (cars, animals) garlic-stuffed olives, exotic cheeses and pates and an array of prepared foods. The prices are up there but I guess they have to pay that 7th Ave. rent. My favorites are the lamb "pizzas" (lahambajins), they make a great snack. Don't miss their nice selection of loose spices.
Dr. Sabbione is great and he always puts on the best jazz!
His hygienist, Theresa, is great with kids as well. The welcome area staff is fun and friendly.
It doesn't really need a review since it's extremely popular. All the dishes are great, the outside area is wonderful when the weather is nice. Family-run place with home-cooked food.
Main Street in New Paltz has a few eateries but Anatolia is my favorite. Run by two brothers, born in Turkey, it produces authentic Turkish fare and cool atmosphere. It's smallish and the service changes often - it's a college town - but try the shish-kebab marinated in yogurt and you'll want to stop there when in New Paltz.
I've been to this place about 5-6 times now - the food is the best and I always found the service great as well. The lamb entrees are great and ALL appetizers are fantastic. They also have a special cheese-and-honey dessert you should save room for.
Jennifer has vast experience working with people of all ages - her kid classes are great and she even has classes for toddlers with caregiver. The rest of the staff is equally professional and the studio is lovely.
My son loves Dr. Steve and so do we all. He was recommended to me before I even moved to the Slope. He also wears really goofy ties sometimes which really helps to loosen up the kids.
Cocoa Bar specializes in chocolate and coffee - I find their coffees difficult to choose from because most choices seem really complex to me. I like to have a "normal" latte. Their chocolates are pretty good but not stellar and I wish they had more pastry choices - one mostly sees huge slices of cake. The space is very nice with a cozy Wi-Fi equipped room in the back and an outdoor space.
I usually don't like hardware stores because things are hard to find and this place is packed floor to ceiling but they always seem to have exactly what you need and they're very quick to help.
When Beet opened many people told me they liked it better than Rice. I think their food is very good and the menu offers good choices at very reasonable prices. I've had problems with their deliveries. As far as the staff, I'm the type that doesn't mind being left alone, so they're OK with me.
