United Artists Theatre
pretty nice theatre for being the only one in the golden area (relatively). They have frequent movie-goer cards that can get you free snacks/drinks and have military/student discounts. The theatre is split into two locations: one at the mall and the other across the street so be sure you know which one you need to go to when seeing a specific movie
Flatirons Golf Course
excellent course that is surprisingly more isolated than you would think trying to find it. The driving range is netted so you can't try hitting it onto the other fairways 8).
Heritage Golf Course
I went here once with a friend of mine because everywhere else was booked. Prices were average but they just happened to be aerating the greens when we went. Because of that, my putting killed me and it was one of my worse games that summer. They should have given discounts to the players if there is some kind of maintenance on the course
Patty Juwett
I'm the type that has to look for good deals on courses before I decide where to golf. That makes this course my pick when all I want to do is play a quick round of golf w/o breaking the bank. This course is really flat and is right next to a major street. I think you can probably see the majority of the course from one spot (that's just how flat it is).
Omni Interlocken Resort Golf Club
it is a nice course but is way too expensive for me to play more than once a summer. To me, it isn't worth. The course is always booked during the summer. The last time I went, I got a nice deal from golfnow.com as a single reservation, bringing the green fee down to 70. Normally, it's about 150, I believe
Black Bear Golf Club
i think of this golf course as kind of a secret course that not many people go to. I went here for the first time 2 years ago when I got a sweet deal from the guys up at bear dance. Fairly flat course and the carts have GPS
Sand Creek Golf Course
For the longest time, I only thought of this course as the place behind the movie theatre. I went here with my brother this past summer and the course completely caught me off guard. From the theatre parking lot, this course looks flat and cheap but really is one of the better courses I've been to.
Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course
I don;t think there is really anything special about this golf course. It's over priced for what you get but still isn't that expensive. I use online green fee finders and this course always has an opening for half the normal cost which is why I go here.
Golf Club At Bear Dance
You'll be more interested by the amazing houses built on the course than what your next shot should be. rates are very pricey but it's a nice place to golf every once in a while.
Eisenhower Golf Course
I'm a dependent since my dad is in the Air Force and this is the place where I learned how to golf. Rates for military kids 17 and under are only 7 bucks and then somewhere around 25 bucks for other military. It's a little over 50 bucks if you're not in the military. The course is fairly difficult - if you have a bad slice, you will always be playing out of the trees. Carts do not have GPS but I pretty much memorized the course with how many times I've been there.
